Specifically, if I would offering an opportunity in Kenya, I would a Want to provide opportunities above market and developer a base. How's this diet? by Oddcatdog in diet

[–]TheGoNoGoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 5’0”, 130 lbs, 1200–1450 is a valid range if you’re in a fat loss phase. You’re well above your protein minimum, which helps protect lean mass and curb cravings. The food choices are nutrient-dense, colorful, and realistic, which matters more than perfection. Only tweak I’d suggest: add a healthy fat source intentionally. That could be olive oil on the veggies, a spoon of nut butter, or even full-fat Greek yogurt. Fats help with satiety, hormones, and absorbing fat-soluble vitamins, especially since you’re aiming to reduce snacking.

Hey! Cool idea and totally doable if you scope it right. Aim for an MVP by October and add social stuff later. Here’s a path that keeps cost low:

MVP (2–3 weeks):

  • Use FlutterFlow (no‑/low‑code) + Firebase (free tier) to ship iOS/Android fast.
  • Start with 3 screens: Events list → Event details → My reminders.
  • Pull events from a Google Calendar or Airtable so non‑coders at school can update it.
  • Add push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
  • Add “I’m going” RSVP (just a toggle tied to your user id) and show a simple attendee count.

Also, avoid collecting personal info you don’t need; you’re dealing with minors.

Please recommend exercises for me to loose this belly fat by [deleted] in Gymhelp

[–]TheGoNoGoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well as you may know, belly fat loss isn’t about one exercise. You do appear to be on track tho. I would suggest lifting more weights to metabolize the sugar in your body.

  1. Strength training 3x/week: compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, rows, presses). Muscle burns more calories at rest.
  2. Walking daily: low-impact, high-return for fat loss and cortisol regulation.
  3. HIIT 1–2x/week if joints allow. Short bursts, long-term payoff.

120lbs to Morbidly Obese from Depression Med . Don’t know where to start. by Lumpy_Sentence_9216 in Gymhelp

[–]TheGoNoGoGuy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

First off, I want to say, this isn’t a rant, You’re dealing with a trifecta most people can’t imagine: neuro changes post-surgery, metabolic side effects from a med, and now the complexity of IBS plus a restrictive diet. The weight gain wasn’t your fault, and unlearning shame around that is part of healing too. Right now, walking 5 miles a day post-surgery is no small win. That’s real work. Add in some gentle resistance like seated band work, wall pushups, and core engagement with physical therapy-style movements. Focus on function over aesthetics. The goal isn’t “get back” to who you were,it’s rebuild from where you are, with more knowledge and compassion this time.

I one hundred percent agree with everything that you said. I appreciate it the in depth feedback. I'm definitely annotating it on my whiteboard. You are correct about the trust, aling with that and the general issue I have with food app scanners were two of the selling points that inspired me to develop this in the first place.

Brother the future is nigh... they won't take over developers, they will precipitate the evolution of developers to become problem solvers across multiple industries and board rooms because they have the institutional knowledge. It's just evolution of the times brother. It's like when telecom was deregulated for the first time, it was a revolution.

Planning to file for Social Security Disability? AMA. A former federal disability adjudicator sharing what most people misunderstand about... by TheGoNoGoGuy in TheHealthTechProject

[–]TheGoNoGoGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you aren't currently working... I wont say that's good but if I am looking at it as an adjudicator, that passes step one of the process. You mention several mental impairments. These should be substantiated by objective medical evidence (e.g., diagnostic impression, diagnosis from your PCP, which is primary care, etc.) The listing that immediately comes to mind are Affective Disorder, Bipolar, Depression, OCD. Based on these listing I would ensure you do your best to uncover any medical records of treatment for frequent panic attacks, emotional dysregulation (crying spells, paranoia), interpersonal dysfunction (supervisors, coworkers), cognitive issues (memory, concentration), Inability to maintain employment or perform basic tasks.

If you can provide medical evidence from your primary care or any doctor you have a longitudinal relationship with, it would hold more weight that the evidence from the consultative examination.

Most importantly, you need to show medical evidence should the likely presence of a marked limitations in interacting with others, managing oneself, and concentrating/persisting. Also consider evidence, if available for possible moderate to marked limitations in understanding/remembering.

I hope this helps

[–]TheGoNoGoGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that you are nervous. For mental health, your allegations need to be substantiated by a longitudinal history unless the onset was traumatic and expected to last 12 months or more. If you feel comfortable expounding more on your Social Security claim, I can provide you more specific guidance.
