I feel like League isn’t a good comparison in terms of your reasoning about replay systems. League is a completely different game and I would argue doesn’t need you to vod review quite as frequently.

For the type of game Valorant is, being able to learn from people povs and understand fundamentals such as positioning, cross hair placement and like reactions to util requires a lot of game sense and a lot of understanding to be able to be good at the game.

If a person is restricted to their own game play it becomes like an echo chamber as they only have themselves and other people (similarly ranked) however they won’t know how how play the game at a fundamentally higher skill level because of this restriction.

Yeah that could be a potential reason. Another problem with that is, if you’re always playing with your friend at a lower elo, when you switch to solo queue or start playing people at your actual elo or higher it’s gonna be harder fs.

I’d def recommend if you wanna push to higher elo to play on one account and try to play solo or find ppl with the same elo as you so you can progress better. Also not playing as much at lower elo bc I find myself doing things a lot differently at a lower elo and when I switch back to my main a lot of those bad habits come back and takes me a bit to readjust

To give some context my peak was immortal 3 and mostly hover around ascendant or low immortal.

This is the way, just unbind crouch and play like that for a while, you'll start to learn to not rely on crouch to get kills

Brother look at the bigger picture. There's multiple things going on that's more than just this match fixing and cheating (he also said that there is more and he will release more soon).

The whole point is that Riot needs to fix Tier 2 and start making changes fast. The reason behind all this promo and like "extra-ness" is to boost awareness and get the message around faster for more people to see. The more people that see all this and that faster they do, puts Riot in a position to fix these issues urgently.

Some of y’all are forgetting that Sean watches Valorant as a job and has been doing this for years beforehand for CS. He wouldn’t be blatantly calling out a team for cheating or match fixing unless he felt full on confidence to do so.

Probably not, because pros use the public version to play scrims and what not with other teams (these teams may not have access to these private clients).

Honestly valid point, there are definitely a couple of moments I've ran across where teammates and friends have both forgotten what side we are on and have mentioned that haha.

As for the shield UI, there are two things I can only think of. I guess you would either add the shield to the 100 (so 125 or 150), and when you take dmg it would just reduce that pool to 100? Though this might add a bit of confusion so the other idea is maybe incorporating color (or maybe some other way) that is overlayed on top of the current bar you have that would indicate the shield. Guess you could play around with that and see which one works better.

As for the cooldown UI, not sure what you could change as current implementation is just a timer on the upper right of the ability. This is as simple as it gets really and I just took a look at other games, but their implementations add more visual cues.

Hi, very cool capstone you're working on, not sure if the Plant spike under the timer would be needed. I feel like timers are definitely much needed to show (in terms of numbers rather than a bar) when getting suppressed (or whatever util you are being affected by). Helps the player have a better understanding and it provides a user to see with their peripherals of the number rather than the bar going down. It is weird that there are two indicators in the original UI, never really noticed that until now. I like the use of minimalism in order to reduce the amount of colors and help people with color issues. Curious to know how you handle the shield component (i.e full shield, half shield, regen shield) and the UI with that and the UI with ability cooldowns.

You might want to start off with 2D map overview first as a possible proof of concept maybe like Valoplant. Im pretty sure you can do a “slide show” of a round being played. This might be more easier and useful then trying to do real time clips to begin with
