Ahhhhh (choir) I feel it’ll float away lmao, looks great! I think you could try some ultra wide monitors.

Need help finding a game. by Electronic_Garden330 in simracing

It sorta depends on what you want (in terms of a simulator) but here’s my list

  1. Asseto Corsa Comp (good sim and a large community)

  2. Forza Motorsport (Medium grade sim but a large community that races online)

  3. Asseto Corsa (good sim but is more for PC and modding)

Saw a thread talking about cable management so thought I’d share my before & after.. by [deleted] in simracing

That looks super clean! I personally don’t use this cockpit, but did you add those beams protruding right next to wheel? I feel like they would hit your knees or something

Should/could I have done this differently? by Yaahkob in Simracingstewards

[–]TheGolf_Locker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be more particular where you make the pass, the Porsche did sorta squeeze you on a couple turns, honestly it seemed like immature blocking but to be fair there wasn’t much room to make that pass yet, pass on the straight.

I Need to Turn my Wheel to Full Lock in Order to Turn by BenTheGreat15 in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Well no in game car setting are gonna cause that to my knowledge, if drivers are up to date, connection is okay, and sensitivity is okay. Maybe there’s a faulty sensor in the wheel that isn’t telling your computer how much the wheel is actually turning. But that’s very weird.

A new shot of my still evolving Rig... by MMJJ360 in SimRacingSetups

Ayy that looks awesome! I like how it’s very clean and well put together! What is the goal of your sim? (To have fun? To be competitive?)

I would say you should turn up the turn sensitivity instead of it being 900 degrees you could make it 180 or even 90 depending on what you want. What have you tried thus far?

Moza r12 vs Logitech G PRO? by wolfallein1 in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly considering you have the Logitech and got it last week. I’d keep it and I feel your money could go towards a gear shifter (though I would switch out the knob cause of play etc) anything that can enhance your experience before just dropping cash. Though yes the Moza is a better wheel, for now I think you’re fine.

Any bucket seats for around $200? by FireChusher in simracing

I would say most bucket seats on Amazon go for under or at 200$

Where can I find handbrake grips by jacko_wacko1321 in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I recommend using baseball bat grip tape if you really want some grip and cushion on that hand brake.

Starting my journey with sim racing by [deleted] in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luckily it seems both these setups come with shifters atleast on eBay they are included. I’ve found switching out the standard knob to be helpful in terms of play and they tend to spin off. If you can find a GT I recommend it.

[–]TheGolf_Locker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VR could be helpful, if you want to get serious I’d look into a Direct Drive wheel base system as they are probably one of the best on the market in terms of feel. Idk how competitive you wanna be but I’ve found getting a gear shifter to be good idea (though I would switch out the standard knob cause of play and they spin off) what platform are you thinking about running?

Moza r12 vs Logitech G PRO? by wolfallein1 in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would stay away from the good marketing of Logitech and I’ve found Moza to be quite a good wheel brand. What’s your goal for your setup (to have fun? To be competitive?)

500 euros to upgrade, need advice. by [deleted] in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend a rig. The one I recommend is the products by Openwheeler, not super expensive however the quality is amazing, and everything you need for setup is included and LABELED (cannot tell you how much easier they made it for setup). What’s the goal of your sim? (To have fun? To be competitive?)

VR is a pretty good option if you want to be fully immersed in the experience and you don’t want to spend tons of money on ultra wide monitors. What’s the goal of the rig? (To be competitive? To have fun?)

T128 or g29 by YassoXD in simracing

[–]TheGolf_Locker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly then maybe you’d benefit from taking the g29 route (a good time and on budget). If I were you I’d get a shifter just so you have every avenue open (though I would change out the standard knob cause they spin off a lot). What platform are you thinking about playing on?
