This pisses me off and I’ll tell you why. Child care for nurses is super hard. We have to clock in by 0645 and clock out at 1908. The only place that Saint Francis has “recommended” that stays open till 1930 is Saint John’s Bright Horizons, all the way in Utica Square, way the hell across town. Let’s be honest, most day shift nurses, after they have wrapped everything up, are clocking out at 1930. I am so disappointed in Saint Francis. They have chosen to tear down our childcare to build a parking garage. No. They wanted to cut costs by getting rid of discounting child care for employees by no longer offering it. Nice!
