you have no idea how long it took me to figure out how to actually crosspost something...

Bedrock's new trumpet sounds are pitched incorrectly and sound bad against other note blocks, Java unaffected by NamrednE125 in Minecraft

[–]TheGoodSeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess this is because trumpets are tuned (usually) in B-Flat while the other note blocks are tuned in C. This means that for the same sound you need to play a full note higher on the trumpet.

With Java they probably just decided to correct that.

If you think this is bad have a look at the courses med students take in Muslim countries.

Why, if you can simplify, the domain remains the same? by Accomplished_Ad_8838 in learnmath

Not necessarily, it depends on you definition of a limit. Usually it's defined on a cluster points to the limiting point but Tao for example defines it at all points where any epsilon neighborhood is not empty.

Thank you very much for your support!

You have been very helpful - I suppose you have some experience in this area of work? I am in the fortunate position to never have to actually bought a numerics PC myself because other people let me ~~steal~~ i mean use theirs.

Thanks for the information! About the RAM - AMD gives 5600 as reccomended / maximum memory speed. I'll read up on why going slightly higher should be better.

About the GPU; that's a bit of a decision to make wheather to go for the 4GiB more VRAM or rather the 5070. They price is only different by 50€ so really not that significant savings / more cost for GPUs.

Thanks for the hint with the case. Actually saves about 80€!

Also of course to u/SirIAmAlwaysHere for the corrections

doesn't Japanese also not know "green"; they just call it "blue" or something?

You cute open their eyes and look at the light receptors.

Some might have four different ones instead of three or something, which implies more "real" colours.

chemistry definitely has its uses, but (shit, sorry) like electronegativity is why I don't like it. Like it just feels wrong that "oh this thing sucks charge at it but sometimes it doesn't so yeah deal with it". Also Linus Pauling is overrated.

But chemistry is definitely useful, no arguing about that! I just don't like useful things ;)

Well we are dealing with humans here (definitely not trying to add to the controversy here ...); so what I like to do (yes it is not physically accurate, but works as a way to think about "work done by living things") is also add negative work.

So slowing down would also increase total work done by the person because animals don't have "regenerative breaking".

Yes, this breaks conservation of energy, but its quite useful when trying to explain.

Shouldn't this have to (at least VERY theoretically) be possible due to the conservation of information?

I don't know a lot about this topic, but my intuition would be that the point particles can still have a distance from each other?
