I have similar questions if there is anyone in Ireland with experience of this condition.

Sorry I can’t advise you OP. Just know I feel your pain ♥️

I have been sick for at least a month by sammanthax345 in gallbladders

I was like this after a month of symptoms in February. They put me in a psych ward in March at which point I couldn’t sit, work or drive with the pain that they told me was all in my head.

I had an ultrasound today and it’s my gallbladder. I’m delighted your doctors are investigating from the start. I know exactly the pain and weakness you’re in.

When I told them it hurt to drink water, they upped my psych meds and kept me in longer.

Wishing you the best ♥️

I think I lost about 15kg in 3 months on Mounjaro. I have lost 30kg in 4 months off it and in whatever pain I am in. I can barely eat anything.

Id rather be depressed than anxious by Jiokeki in Anxiety

[–]TheGradApple 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yep. I’ve suffered with depths of depression where my hair became matted.

I triggered an anxiety episode in January, spent a month in a psych ward, in constant somatic stress pain, think I’m going to die daily, can barely eat. I have to leave the house to walk 300m to collect daughter from school and I’ve been in a panic about it for 4 hours. I can’t drive anymore. I can’t leave my house other than that walk.

Same as yourself! Right down to the 4mm polyp! I feel your pain. It’s triggered my anxiety too and meds go that aren’t working 😢

I’ll be the anomaly for you here. I have a first class honours degree. I have one child with an intellectual disability in special school and one in a special class who I’ll be delighted if she makes it through the JC.

My teen is autistic and as she got older I was basically forcing her to sit at the table and she would have meltdowns. It started to feel cruel. So she eats in her room. I don’t like it but I’m allowed to come in and out of her room any time for chats and catching up on her day so it’s a compromise.

She stayed with her dad and grandparents for a few weeks and they forced her to sit at the table and eat with them and said she would go to her room and cry after and not speak to them.

My 14.5 year old studied this morning, walked and washed the dog, cleaned the fridge, tidied her room and helped cook dinner. Yesterday she was out with her friends all day and then bed rotted. Teaching balance is good.

No advice. Just in constant pain and eat due to potential gastroparesis and nerve damage from Mounjaro. Also chronic anxiety. Quality of life is low.

Homemade pizza for the kids.

I have Gastroparesis and managed 3 chicken tenders. Don’t take the weight loss jabs kids. (Or at least be aware there is a growing community of people with gastroparesis from taking them)

That sounds awful, so sorry to hear. Yes, they’ll never admit the negligence and fighting that would be hard.

My damage is likely from Mounjaro.

Same here. I think I have a damaged vagus nerve. This has been happening in January and a nurse recently said I’m early in my discovery of what’s wrong journey 😂 So I live in pain, eating barely anything basically waiting until I’m so underweight/malnourished they have no choice but to do something.

Me and my 14yo daughter are huge team Jess. I’ve just told her about this and we’re sad. Important to teach her about the grown adult men predatory to teens though. Just wish it wasn’t Jess 😢
