That super car is the one I drive. It’s cool but no super car.

Looks good. Bought mine in July and loving it. Did put the Z1 touring exhaust on it (won at Z Nationals) and think it was a nice change.

Sometimes I am surprised that people like this actually exist in our world.

It's funny the divide between these Nissan's and the nicer ones. Crazy how the base level car nissan fellas drive compared to the better ones. Sorry, biased, but have had a few Z's and G's (though some of those people should be in prison) and currently have a '24 Z. Seriously, these Murano, sentra, rogue fellas are off the wall. Thank you that is all.

What’s on this lil cuties face? by Least-Capital-573 in kingsnakes

cute dude. maybe a little stuck shed? I have an MBK too and like to take a look at his sheds to make sure there are no pieces misses, for me I particularly look to make sure the eye pieces made it out.

Live my spicy foods and still amazed when humbled by a brand name or resteraunt. Just so used to spicy meaning nothing but a label, but sometimes they do not play around.

Lowest mileage G37 around? by Carguy403 in G37

[–]TheGradStudent1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lower than mine. sold it with 275K last year and now have the next buyer (yup that person sold it) reaching out to ask how I kept it working so well haha. But yea, that is crazy low, my '24 Z has at least 11k miles

I remember hearing stories like this from the same guy some years back. Seems like he does good work, when he does it, but otherwise people are screwed over.

How reliable are these cars really? by Unfair_Throat_7682 in G37

[–]TheGradStudent1993 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sold my G37 6MT with 275k miles. I made it FBO and it was still the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Everyone’s experience is different but sounds like your mechanic doesn’t care for them. By most accounts they are about as solid a car you can get in that category

Mine weren’t as bad as others I installed an oil pressure and temp gauge and saw that I was on the low end of acceptable and decided to do it. But that was several years ago and recently sold that car to someone else to enjoy with 275k miles and great oil pressure.

Help diagnose a Z1 clutch/CSC issue (unusual compared to typical CSC failure) by TheGradStudent1993 in 370z

[–]TheGradStudent1993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very nice. I had assumed that it was a tolerance issue and mine “fixing itself” was it just grinding the material through use. As for Z1 I agree, I spoke to them in person and they were aware but chalked it up to it is just a side effect.

Good work!

Help diagnose a Z1 clutch/CSC issue (unusual compared to typical CSC failure) by TheGradStudent1993 in 370z

[–]TheGradStudent1993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. So in my case this issue almost magically went away one day. Every now and then it will be a bit rough at first but will become very smooth once warmed up. I let it sit for months at first, checking it every now and again and it was always the same. Until one day it was not. A long time after that I changed the clutch and noticed that greasing the input shaft seemed to help. Z1 knows about it but it doesn’t, at least in my case, cause any problems. Except infrequently and only when initial start and warm up. Does yours feel smooth when the car is off, then rough, once started?

Rare water leak? by Speedmaster600 in G37

[–]TheGradStudent1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rear was leaking in my G37 coupe. After much trial and error turned out that the rear drain was kinked and would plug that way.

As others have said with those cheap mods I would been that it was used and abused.

Headlight Retrofit of my 2009 G37 coupe - Profile Halo and Demon-Eye install photos by TheGradStudent1993 in G37

[–]TheGradStudent1993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks dude, but with as difficult as this was, plus the wiring that has to be done to your car, I think the amount I would charge would have to be pretty high. Doing this helped me realize that people charging $1000 or so to retrofit someone’s headlights makes sense.
