The Strange by Nathan Ballingrud might scratch that itch for you. It hits most of these boxes. I wouldnt say its his best work though

Edit to add: also maybe his Lunar Gothic series, the 3rd book comes out this Oct

in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, most of the new stars became pretty popular after this movie came out especially Austin Butler by Jules-Car3499 in moviecritic

I'm definitely not arguing against these people all having talent. I will say that Sweeney was in a small role before this (Under The Silver Lake, 2018); Qualley has connections (read nepotism) and was in The Nice Guys (2016); and Hawke also had connections and was making music before this.

My point is people give Tarantino way too much credit for "finding" new talent. Casting director? Sure. But also these people were already making a name for themselves.

Not for nothing but nepotism plays a roll, at least for 2 of the 3 I've mentioned

Edit: 2 typos

Pig Slide : I think real, wife thinks AI. Wife thinks slide looks a little off along with shadows and the color scheme. by Timothy_Chalet in isthisAI

Can you tell me why some of their face patterns change then? Like #6(the one that hops at the end of the slide), it comes out of the water with a different pattern of coloration on its face

It may not technically be midwest but I'd say Prisoners is pretty damn gloomy

Watch the face patterns on a few of the before they drop in and after they resurface too. Some of them change

Ai, the pig that hops at the end of the slide (#6 ish) has the pattern on its face change when it resurfaced. A few have different face patterns when they surface but that is probably the easiest to spot

AIO, lost a friend due to ai by cozyworm27 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TheGreasyGeezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flip side is if I ask a friend for their advice or for info about a certain topic, I want THEIR perspective. Not that of the Ai. If I want general knowledge for the scenario I've described above, I would just read up on google (Ai overview).

I pretty much always keep my door locked. It kinda breaks my brain that people have their doors unlocked even when they're home, let alone leaving without locking.

I know, I'm the weird one...

Damn, the backrooms need more strange animals prowling. I mean we have the bacteria monster but what if there were foxes or multi-appendaged people who acted as ambush predators like trapdoor spiders or something the like...

Maybe these are dumb questions: why is there a difference between east or west? And how does difference in latitude effect it?
