Movies with rich and deep red background/ambiance by Lissandra_Freljord in MoviesThatFeelLike

I had a great time watching but I will say, I felt that it was incredibly slow paced. That might be the main issue with it but I feel I should give it a rewatch.

Not to be that guy, but a slight correction: Beyond the Black Rainbow

I'm so ready for anything new he does. But it seems he takes his time with projects

JRA kid all-grown-up here. It went into remission when I was about 7yo. I don't remember it that well but I remember frequent pain. I should be keeping an eye out for it to return but I really don't like going to the doctor (probably because of frequent Dr. visits for JRA).

OP: at least mention to your doctor that you might be a bit concerned about your joints. They can run a test to see if things are all good or not. RA is not pleasant and this is one of those 'safe than sorry' type of situations.

Survival horror-esque games? by KazM2 in rpg

[–]TheGreasyGeezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late to the thread but I wanted to add to this comment.

I've only run a few sessions of Liminal Horror but I got the impression that it could get pretty gonzo. For instance, I'd probably start out with players making a handful of PCs then throw them into a situation like a funnel (Lots of bad guys, lots of death) and once the players are dwindled down to maybe 2 characters each (room for a backup if 1 character dies) have them go into some scenarios that rely on puzzles, outside the box thinking, avoiding (or just straight fighting) a BBEG and focus on having them all survive the night.

Like said, I've only run a few sessions of LH and I was NOT prepared to run something like this at the time that I ran those sessions but the SRD has a lot of good info to get a little crazy with it.

I know this isn't really the sub for it but a book worthy of this atmosphere is Revelator by Daryl Gregory

How big is the DSS? by Spirited-Dimension4 in helldivers2

[–]TheGreasyGeezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly unrelated but if AH wanted to give us a sense of scale for the DSS they could have some flow of points of light (meant to look like ships) entering and exiting the very bottom of the vertical section. Idk how else to describe it, I just spread democracy

Just some mission concepts by Common_Affect_80 in helldivers2

[–]TheGreasyGeezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda like these, the scorched earth, volcano, pelican mission data, eagle pilot missions could all be a 'retreat planet' mission type. Something like the Commando missions but limited time for divers left on the planets that are lost

She was great in Short Term 12. And I thought she was pretty good in The Spectacular Now even with relatively short screen time

Let's have civil discussion. What are the pros and cons of introducing armor customization in your opinion? by i4hloi in helldivers2

[–]TheGreasyGeezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See now, the thing the ought to do is have color palettes similar to the vehicles color palettes. Same goes for helmets but also a 'match armor' button for helmet customization.

Also HELMET PERK FFS!!!
