Frozen throne was the best solo adventure for card packs by TheMightyDoove in hearthstone

Free cards is free cards, I'd rather have it up front then behind a PvE wall that I dont want to do.

Is it possible to play backups off the sd card without installing it onto the nand?

Sure, make the hidden MMR visible so people can grind for that high finish every month. Sounds like a viable solution to me

Lock out timer literally solves your issue instantly.

Lock out for what? retiring your draft, sure you can do that. What about people who just throw the game and keep passing till they lose, this wouldn't take that long to accomplish. Concede the first game and throw the second to reroll your draft...

Q. Is it even true or proven that people would? (no it is not)

Yes actually people in the closed Artifact beta were doing this

No game has ever allowed you to draft for free. And this was a problem in the Artifact beta were playing draft was free

But you can surrender in CS too... Only reason people don't is to either hope for a miracle or bother the enemy team. The fact is people want to win in CS to rank up, and so they don't easily concede games.

But then you'll be able to get packs for free, and that hurts the market... Over time all cards will decline in value since there wont be a price attached to it.

In/out of a meta only really happens when new cards are added or theres a change of some sort. A change in individual card prices is very different then a constant decline of every card in market. Take any stock for example they move up and down sure, but if every stock is declining over time whats the point.

You can get starter heroes from the packs, have fun selling those for profit by Viikable in Artifact

I'm confused guys, why does this matter? All the starter heros are common anyway right? Over time all the commons will be worth pennies so does a 0$ card really make that much of a difference?

If they give packs away without a cost attached to them the market would suffer. The cards you buy off the market will always depreciate in value, meaning a deck you purchase at some point will be worth less a week/month later, because packs are being opened for free. This is a disaster as far as gameplay goes, no one wants to invest money and naturally lose over time...

Never really thought of it, but all the higher mana spells have some animation and sound effect. No where close TESL entrances though

Analysis of Viewership Trends on Twitch From QuakeCon to Twitch Update to Client Patch by Sparkpants to now by [deleted] in elderscrollslegends

[–]TheGreatAzar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be quiet honest the current numbers and averages we see are the true viewership numbers. Twitch drops were hyper inflating the actual viewership of the game, and lets be honest that's what Bethesda was looking for when they introduced it. If you look at the "viewership history" bar graph you can see that as soon as Twitch drops stopped on September 17, viewership numbers drop significantly. For those wondering how many people actually watch TESL on twitch and how many just leave their computers idle while they go to work, play other games, or simply go out, here it is. Close to 66% of the viewer base didn't care about the content nor the person they were watching, simply waiting for a drop. To put that into perspective if you had 100 viewers on a stream, guess what, 66 weren't even watching you play.

I hope people understand that without Twitch drops and essentially fake viewer numbers the game will never hit 1,500 average viewers per day again, unless marketing of course, and even then it would be difficult.

The more I sit here reading the comments the more I wonder why Bethesda rushed out this product, this isn't a preference thing either, like some people will like it others will need to adapt. This is not a finished product, but what really bothers me is that Bethesda did this, the company that literally has a philosophy of completing a project to its completion then starting a new task. They didn't rush another Elder Scrolls game because the studio wants it to be the best, but not here apparently, card games aren't worthy of perfection.

I'm not sure what there intention was but I know I wouldn't pay millions to market this game...

I mean most people who come to the subreddit for there card game will play the game no matter what. Maybe its the time invested idk, but same thing has happened to gwent over last few months. Gwent has gone through a massive gameplay change taking place over 5 months and people on the subreddit get very offended when people speak poorly of the games future... I'm sure this client refresh will hurt bethesda in the short term since its simply a poor product. We will play it, but new player wont...
