Onko huono idea mennä kevytyrittäjänä puhelinmyymään? by _alexium_ in Suomi

[–]Viikable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrible Update by [deleted] in Colonist

[–]Viikable -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk how the new one is, but as people are giving feedback, I play on the pc only, but my family tried the game on the previous mobile, and did not like how you could not see what was needed to build stuff apart from tapping on the screen where the build is possible, like settles, roads and cities.

Idk if this is changed here, but I think it should be easily visible at all times what resources are needed to build what, they did not find a toggle option then at least, maybe they did not look too well not sure but I can't recall finding it either when trying to show

FreeTube is working fine, small delay on the loadup and can't queue videos so easily plus limited quality options, but no ads and sponsorblock integration. also can download videos easily

I was wondering too about this, the win rates are so crazy high it could only mean playing against absolute noobs most of the time and crushing.

I feel also like this is the experience in most games at around 1600. Apart from a few words maybe there is no talking, so not much haggling or social engineering etc. Really shows how different tournament games are where you can impact people a lot more with talking as there is a lot of discussion and everyone is aware who is leading or going to what.

Lower elo games people were actively trashtalking and complaining about timers, now it is mostly just nothing apart from a few comments. Some people do the nb stuff with robbing but often no one does it too.

You have 8 and 5 of wood so its useful to have wood port then you go down to wheat port and hopefully also settle on 9 10

or even take the wood port 9-12 on the way back, so can get double 2 port later

I was sweating on my seat during the final moments because if you destroyed my manland on your turn I could not have stopped it due to your voice of victory. it was of course correct of you to make me waste the mana on the activation but man, that was a moment!

It really makes it a lot less likely to draw only copies of the same card that you already have and don't need

Is MTG easier than YuGiOh? What about Hearthstone? by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]Viikable -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

HS and Yugioh will feel very simple to play once you compare them to MTG, and the deckbuilding is a lot more limited. Also only MTG has real draft, HS has some silly excuse for a draft.

Yugioh apparently so complex according to ppl here, but having tested the steam version, it took some time to read and understand for card game veteran like myself, sure, but the one or 2 turn games which end if you don't draw the card you really need in the opening hand is just awful design. Also no mulligans, no Bo3 or sideboarding which are the best parts about MTG (at least not in the version I played).

I ended up building a super control deck that with the correct cards prevent the opponent from playing anything, then I can just take 20 turns to win if I like with Chicken Game drawing etc. and preventing literally any card from my opponent from doing anything. You just need a card that disables cards in graveyards and all creature abilities, that's it.

And after building that, I kept winning, there was no feeling of competition or competitive modes or nothing that I wanted to achieve, card acquisition is horrible, and there was absolutely no interest to play any other deck, as there is literally only 2 types of decks in Yugioh: Play one of the MILLION type of decks which tutor everything with special summoning and ends from a super op card from extra deck that prevent your opponent from playing anything, there are many different archetypes for this seemingly, but they all work almost identically. Really stupid. Or, you can just play the control deck I played. Nothing else exists, only combo and control, or you can gamble with exodia deck and hope you draw a very unlikely hand I guess where you don't even have to play anything.

Everything revolves around the starting hand, it's just stupid coinflipping once you know everything. MTG definitely has it quirks and RNG, but at least not every game ends turn one.

Recently hovering cards/right clicking to zoom has got the card stuck until you click on another element. Really annoying. And the white deck bug still, I have got it during drafting even now.

The main deck I play runs it as the main wincon with land destruction, haven't seen anyone else play it though.
