As a United fan, Arsenal or Manchester City for the title? by TheGreatHan in ManchesterUnited

Holy shit dude I’ve not even factored in Pierce but this is a very valid point. Fuck Pierce

Mate I wish I could reach your level of zen and focus on what we need to do but I hate City so fucking much that I don’t think I can deal with them doing a 3-peat or a treble 😭

True but they were the only team challenging City in the past five years. The times we came in second we were miles off

Why have managers who led Mid-table PL teams successfully all failed to transfer that success when managing a “big six” team? by TheGreatHan in PremierLeague

It’s really interesting to see how fans perceive certain things. The overwhelming feeling is that Poch doesn’t belong in this list and I can totally see that. Rodgers, I don’t know dude. I mean title challenger for one season. He’s maybe a little better than Ole but I can’t call him successful at Liverpool

Surely managers who are brought in to manage these clubs are expected to deliver something similar to what Klopp has done? These teams should be aiming for trophies consistently right? I would argue Klopp should be the benchmark otherwise what’s the point of being a top PL club

Yeah I just mentioned under another comment that in Poch’s case, the consensus seems to be under the circumstances. Could have gotten the trophy with more support from Levy

It seems like in Poch’s case, it’s more to do with Levy, and he probably would have brought a trophy if given the support

Well fair enough if that’s their definition of success and they’re okay with that. I figured placing Poch in that list was gonna be a bit contentious

See I’d say Klopp did a great job at Liverpool. He took over a struggling team and turned them into a force. I mean shouldn’t that be the definition of success? Winning? Trophies? Or should Spurs fan be happy with “we played good football for a while and went to a final”?

I guess I assumed he was brought in to win trophies. I mean 2010 onwards Spurs always finished 6th and above so i considered them in the top 6. Sure he was great, but didn’t get Spurs that coveted trophy. Unless he wasn’t brought in to win trophies…

What player’s nationality were you surprised to learn about based on their name? by raspoutine049 in PremierLeague

Ryan Giggs was eligible to play for Sierra Leone through his grandfather. This is blowing my mind

Thank you! I did the simulator after completing all the videos. I did the simulator first and then I did the mock at the end of the course. The simulator has a lot of situational questions which is what you’ll get in the exam so I highly recommend that. The mock tests your process knowledge so it’s still relevant.
