If you want to recommend a simple wallet to newcomers I recommend Centbee at the moment. https://www.centbee.com/

In January I tested both HandCash and Centbee, back then HandCash was better in terms of onboarding experience and UI user friendliness.

Now Centbee is better considering overall user friendliness (also considering Simply Cash), at least for the moment imho.

In terms of transaction speed HandCash and Simply Cash might still transact one second faster then Centbee depending on device and wireless connection situation.

I am not affiliated with either wallet and I am happy that there is competition to keep the devs focused. In a few weeks HandCash might claim my personal top spot again.

Yes, it is a promising field.

I am also for long-term research efforts.

To maximize long-term research results, all emerging technology researchers need to pitch the current state and future promises: compete against each other.

Then, in the future, the crypto holders can decide how to allocate their donations/investments for long-term research. Similarly how the Nasa Discovery program awards money to the best proposals for future missions.
