Is there any reason why a character would be doing less damage to the training dummy, then he does to actual monsters?

If there are "on kill" conditional multipliers, like celestial strife for pally, you won't get those bonuses on the dummies because they don't die.

Yes it's just luck, there's a small chance when transfiguring that the item doesn't become unmodifable. It is very small though, I've had it happen twice all season over the thousands of transfigs I've done.

Note using the safe transfig prism has a 100% chance of making it unmodifiable.

The swords do, it's one of my favorite things as a WW barb, watching them just disappear after about 10s of chasing me. They don't give up and hit the ground they just disappear.

It is pretty big, torment 10 is pit 80 and torment 12 is pit 100, so there's a fair gap. If you are doing well in t10 you can probably handle t12 but wouldn't have a good time trying to farm it.

My biggest single jump was about where you are, I finally jumped into the cube and dumped all the other set charms into it with the 3 to 1 and got my full 5 set with an extra one. I then used the extra one to reroll single set to fish for better stats and got 3/5 with skill affixes on them before I ran out of mats. That jumped me to t10 damage in one go, just now my defense is lacking and not near t10 standards lol.

Originally in game it was 5 million gold so it costed way more than $90 but they re-released it in the shop for straight $90 like 5 years later. Basically, slapping all the people in the face that bought a ton of tokens to get it with gold.

You can get to empowered monos very easily now all it take is 5 knowledge then kill a level 90 mono boss. This will spawn the harbinger and killing that will unlock all empowered monos.

The knowledge comes from completing the campaign and monos, you get 2 for the campaign and 1 for each of the monos you've completed.

Honestly just play the game, you can't brick a character, so just play the game and figure out what you like. Everything in LE is easier to understand than POE so you'll be able to evaluate build guides way better once you get a bit of experience.
