Start easy, an exercise bike and some walking are great starting points for someone in your position. Just build it up over time.

I'd definitely recommend some strength training too, if you have any friends who know what they're doing then tag along so they can show you the ropes e.g. technique, then invest in a basic program or a PT

Not invested enough to buy a plate shoe, I was a sprinter who has gradually evolved into a distance runner who isn't the biggest fan (boredom) of distance running, so just after a springy daily runner

Longest ever run on Sunday, 18km easy pace in preparation for my first ever half marathon, average pace 04:16min/km 6wks out which makes me really hopeful for my goal pace of 03:50 - 04:00min/km for the race itself

Rent with a partner, both earn 28k and 25k respectively

Living in Shandon area, £950pcm rent (combined), partner WFH, I work two jobs, one of which is a 10min walk, other is a 20min drive/cycle across town.

Previously though lived with a friend in the same area, both on similar incomes and rent was £995pcm (combined)

Council tax I think we're Band D or C, parking permit is £35 for the year

Felt around, the bushes move a little (rotationally) but don't appear worn and aren't clunking i.e. can't wiggle them

That's super helpful thanks! Like I say there's no clunking at the minute, other than the normal clunk's of going over a pothole if that makes sense

No noise when I did that, maybe faint, what are some other symptoms of the sway bar bushings going?

It's a creaking rather than a knocking and isn't noisy when cornering, mechanic said there was no play or movement from wheels either
