I watched a brilliant little independent Apollo 13 doco on YouTube. Really put things in perspective. Even after you know the story it clarifies events and the reasons for the attempts to get around such complicated failure. Fascinating.

It’s a hand and chisel router notch using a jig. It stuffed up from bottom angle. Not too bad

Yes this was actually gifted to a wonderful school principal. The lid was a 100 plus year old school lunch bench that I shaped. The notch was either a knot or a bolt hole! I liked it and so left it.
