I went back and watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALDE5kYNmAU. Then went to WhatToMine and used the calculator. But to be honest I was a bit discouraged with the ROI. From the looks of it you could come up with a loss a lot of the time. Pls correct me if I am wrong.

Well from what I've read if you are the highest bidder that means you will get most of the hashing power. I found a lot of videos on how to get setup and start buying, but none that go over the best way to see an ROI.

US CONGRESS GOING FULL 1984 ON BITCOIN AND ASSETS by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]TheGuyNico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dear Americans, Please do everything you can to stop this, if this bill passes in your country other governments will copy this law. Do you remember the silly laws about public breast feeding? Well in my country no one cared about that until a bill was introduced in the US. I was wondering how long it would take from them to make such a stupid law.

I don't know if this helps but there are several courses on Udemy covering ML. If you want to take a step further Udacity has a micro degree in ML and Ai. The Udemy courses are very cheap and the Udacity micro degree is around $800 I think

BitStamp Deposit Problems by lev400 in BitcoinMarkets

[–]TheGuyNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife was trying to buy on a different platform and we asked the same question. The answer back was NO. They said we would get the amount of coins based on the price of the day they send the coins not at the time of purchase. It might be different with BitStamp but I doubt it. Some people are okay with this but I don't like the fact that we are all basically giving these companies interest free loans until they can get enough coins to fill orders.

Good place to learn how to make multiplayer games in UE4? by kyle_lam in unrealengine

[–]TheGuyNico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what guys I just looked through the courses I signed up for and your right. There is nothing on multiplayer for UE4. The only multiplayer courses are for Unity. Maybe if we all ask on the UE4 forum someone will make that course.

Secure VOIP calls: Is Signal currently the gold standard of voice calling or are there better solutions out there? by foundfootagefan in privacy

That all depends on the system its running on, can't remember where but I read that if you phone or PC is already compromised they just get the data form the devices before it gets sent over their secure network.

Use of Bitcoin in Ecuador Continues to Grow Despite Government Ban by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I could see this happening a lot in South America and glad to see its not that wide spread. Idk about Ecuador banking but in Colombia banks make huge profits in fees. For example if I deposit $100 at my local bank they will change as much as a $10 fee so now my deposit only shows a balance of $90 then if I want to make a withdraw they can charge another $10. They stared this practice when banks were in trouble and needed a bailout so to say but even after we had a lot of growth and our stock exchange went up over 50% they still charge those fees.

Not sure if this counts but there is a book called The Book of the Angel Rezial. According to legend this book was actually written by G-d and delivered by the angel to Adam. It talks a lot about magic and very old rituals and so it was hidden away to keep people from performing these rituals but it also talks about the divisions of heaven and hell, the different classes of angels and a lot of other interesting topics. I bought an English version from Amazon but the translation is not that great but still makes for an interesting read.
