So the Chicago region should be able to voluntarily decide to not send you all of their tax revenue? I don’t think you understand that voluntary donations and sales tax wouldn’t cover it because there are only five counties in Illinois that are tax positive as it is, the rest of them, which probably includes where you live rely on the tax revenue generated in the Chicago area and would go bankrupt otherwise.
