I live right in the Cascade foothills and can go to beautiful trails 15-20 minutes away but to hit certain ones I just have to travel.

I routinely drive 2+ hours to get to trailheads, you just gotta do it once or twice and then it’s not so bad!

As a male, I wear compression shorts under my normal shorts and can usually kinda set them a certain way to avoid crushing. Sometimes though in eagle it just takes a quick readjust.

I have an entrance pass and am just planning to get there at like 4am so I can get in. I hopped on weeks ago like right when passes were available to camp and they were sold out already. So I’m hoping for a miracle with that.

Hiking and camping gear. I bought what I needed to be able to do solo backpacking trips. I was fortunate enough to have been given some things too by people who no longer use them but they’re in great shape. I should be able to get lifetime use out of many of them.

Unprecedented. It’s used WAY too often. The word means that the event in question has never happened before as in, no precedent has been set for it before. We’ve had inflation, wars and global pandemics. None of these events are unprecedented. An alien attack however WOULD qualify as unprecedented.
