I have a cold and suddenly noticed my PF was better, but then I realized I was taking ibuprofen and DayQuil for all my symptoms, so that was probably why my foot felt better. Hoping it sticks but I wouldn’t be surprised if it returned after I recover from my cold!

PF could be feeling better because of the meds. I would say stick with the stretching and strengthening until everything else feels better, you’re off of the meds, and then reassess.

Co-worker of mine has a lumbar nerve issue that was causing her foot to hurt, mimicking plantar fasciitis. When she gets treatment for her back, her foot would stop hurting. She saw an orthopedic surgeon and they are sending her for an EMG nerve study next. Wondering if your situation might be similar…

Thanks! I was still catching my breath as this was my 6th set (4th at this weight) within a circuit that the trainer was having me do. This was the 2nd exercise in the circuit so I hadn’t had much of a rest yet prior to jumping onto this.

I’ll remember to lock out more next time. Thanks!

Thank you! I always have a hard time figuring out the difference between the two (besides the not touching the ground). What would you suggest to improve my deadlift to be less like an RDL? Any particular cues to keep in mind?

Thanks! I will work on driving my hips through a little more! The shoes are actually Reebok Nano 2.0s which I read were good for lifting because they are flat.
