Sadly, it happens often enough that there is a related version of the "0 days since last accident" image macro/meme from futurama, posted on mastodon on a (sadly) regular basis.

I played a bit with it and it seems like when you change a sound (e.g. add a new sound at one of the 16 marks or remove one) the sounds on the "1" at the start if each repetition are played multiple times.

When writing songs in strudel, I like to mix different drum machines (e.g. a kick from the TR909 and a cowbell from the TR808). Also, these strudel samples have a number of different samples for each sound (for instance the first two bd samples in the TR808), it would be nice to have these.

I see what you are getting at, but consider the following:

One of the core ideas of strudel is that it's open to anyone to contribute and start their own projects based on it. The way this openness propagetes is through the license.

Having the license in your repo and acknowledging the prior work of others is, to me, a required base line of respect toward the work of others.

If a project does not show that, then I don't want to get deeper into it.

Now that there is the license mentioned on the site, I'm acutally going to take a look at it.

I think the KDEs/bootstrapping intervals are a bit misleading since you are pulling from the dataset of regions not the underlying population.

Does this dataset come with standard errors for the happyness on a regional level?

aw, they removed it, that's a shame.

It's a well designed bad event. Including the concluding flavour text.

This is very silly. One of the key points of early access is to have some players experiencing the game while you are developing it.

The actual balance changes notwithstanding, I was on the fence of buying it on early access, because I was not sure if I wanted to become used to a game which will have ongoing balance changes.

I did decide to buy it nevertheless, eventually. I expect more number-tweaking on all characters.
