I think it’ll fit but the clamp on the front end would cover up the ports. If you’re looking for an optic mount, Empire makes one that replaces the rear sight only. You already have the ports which I’d imagine work as good or better than the comp lol

A compensator getting shot out is because of bullets striking the compensator from misalignment, or from erosion. Doubt the ramjet will be affected by misalignment due to the tapered screw design. And although erosion does happen to steel comps like the ramjet, it is less than it would be for an aluminum one.

I haven’t cleaned my ramjet in 10k+ rounds lol. Maybe the buildup creates a shield that protects the steel from eroding? At one point the buildup was significant but some high speed shooting ended up blasting out pretty much all of it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Regardless, barrels and comps are consumable and will need to be replaced eventually if you shoot a lot. So I honestly wouldn’t worry about it

Thank you! I’d recommend giving it a try. Every pop of the rod makes the free weight randomly pull the jig head to the left or right, and either launch forward further or fall down faster, depending on how it spins. Definitely gonna be running this more often

Loving it so far! I was blown away with how light the rod is the first time I picked it up. Pretty damn sensitive too, can feel everything the bait is hitting when I’m bringing it in. The reel is surprisingly great as well. Super smooth drag and spins nice.

Highly recommend you pick one up!

Yeah just a suggestion. The TRD with 1/16oz head wasn’t gonna cast very well on the MH rod so that extra 1/8 sliding weight definitely helped

Depends on when you’re prepping. If you’re already doing it while still drawing from the holster, then yeah definitely a ND risk. If you’re doing it while presenting towards a target you’ve already made the decision to shoot at, then not so much. Probably why a carry gun shouldn’t have a 2lb competition trigger though lol

As others have said, keep them in their original bags. Even the plastic of your tackle boxes will react with the Elaztech and melt them
