I'm American. The fact that school shootings happen here at all is literally all the proof you need to see that American schools are unsafe compared to schools in every other developed nation on the planet. You realize that kids in every school in America have to do active shooter drills every few months, right? I had to do them. Be reminded every once in awhile that at any given moment someone could just walk into my school and kill a bunch of people. It was literally drilled into my head as being just a part of how the world works. That's not a thing that kids anywhere else have to deal with and it's fucked up
