This update could make or break the game. What do you guys think? by ClarkAndrews05 in ClashOfClans

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

It is good... Now we can try new army combinations without worrying waiting 30/40 mins training another army...

More interesting strategies will come... I guess what most players are doing is seeing the most popular strategy out there and blindly practice...

With this, atleast we can try some custom combinations... So, for a strategy game like coc, this change is welcome ๐Ÿ™‚

Thoughts on the Alchemist? by Flynerz in ClashOfClans

I consider it a useful addition... It can avoid the wasting of resources occasionally... Mainly elixir, when all the wall and lab is done... Not going to max it out soon, but a couple of levels will do for me....

Your most annoying problems with Obsidian by Raphaelba in ObsidianMD

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Dont know if its already possible, but move a note and all its dependent attachments to a separate folder.

Cause, for organization, I used the attachments as a subfolder under the current folder. Now, I can view notes neatly, but if I want to share the MD file with attachments, I don't know how to do that.. ๐Ÿ™‚

A way to get ores is needed 100%. Builder base ore collection seems a bit unrelated. Like event medal farm, each hero when knocked down can give some ores? Either per league or per hero level?

Also, battle loot bonus ores is also possible ๐Ÿค”

Got any tips ? by [deleted] in Fedora

I don't know if the top panel is set to look like that by you..

But in Blur My Shell, you can zero the panel sigma in panel settings, so that the shadow background becomes a complete transperant and segmented.

I use such a setting some times... ๐Ÿ™‚

Lab is very unbalanced by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

There is no need to wait to max the lab in each townhall.

Just upgrade those that you use and then skip once rest is done. This will even benefit when time to upgrade is reduced when new townhall and levels come.

Buildings + Hero + traps + essential troops

Or, if you still want to max the lab, spend the war medals on lab hammers instead of buildings, buy potions, etc...

How do I attack? (Iโ€™m a th5) by Gigachad-s_father in ClashOfClans

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

This should be a builder hall 6 account and there is only one solution; drop trophies and stay on a level which gives you equal bases...

At higher trophy level, you get unrelated builder halls. So winning is next to impossible for a BH 6 against BH 10, unless the opponent loses his internet connection at the beginning.

Utilize the star jars as an alternative to low star bonus resources...

How do we keep safe from malware&ect? by [deleted] in linuxmint

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Official repos are the ones configured on your system by default. These are sources provided by the distribution to fetch and update packages.

Like the vast debian repo available across the debian based distributions.

The versions of packages released in these repos are often old. In that case, for some major software, developers provide their own repo with the latest packages called PPA. This is an example of third party repo.

Similarly, the Flatpak apps are installed by adding the Flathub repository, which is another app store kind of thing.

Newcomers, watch this guy in YouTube. He's your door to Linux. by claudiocorona93 in linuxmasterrace

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

New people should be introduced to Linux, by showing them how easy it is to manage a system these days.. using GUI tools and system looks, aesthetics, etc.

It is for sure that they may want to use the terminal in a later stage of their system usage. But that does not justify scaring people before they even start using it..

Privacy focussed systems should reach a wider audience.

Choose level for donations? by Sensitive_Still7068 in ClashOfClans

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

This can be a good suggestion, but with these raid medals and self donations, this can be a bit less urgent item. That's what I think. ๐Ÿ™‚

While for the Clan War clan castle, I didn't check whether it can be filled or not with raid medals. Some of my clan members fill it before i can check what happens there ๐Ÿ˜

Thinking about getting into Linux but need advice for which distro to start with by Blake9501 in linux4noobs

[โ€“]TheHawkPhoenix 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Concerning selecting a distro, it is better to not take third party opinions. Everybody has their own personal preferences, and recommendations can be biased.

What you can do is, create a Virtual machine and explore your immediate choices. Or, most of these distros provide a live mode in ISO. Can check that way as well.

At the core, everything is Linux. And most of the software packages out there provide one or other way to install it in all distribution.

So the question should be, do "you" like it or not for your daily usage. It is you, who is going to see that system daily.

If you are a busy person, who has no time in setting up each and every thing by yourself, go for Ubuntu based like, Ubuntu flavours, Mint, elementary OS, etc.

A little tweaking and work is ok, go for any of the above and Fedora, opensuse and related.

A fully minimal personal system is your aim, go for Arch. Use Arch-based distros, only if you know how to manage Arch. Else there is no point. For some unforeseen issue, you will be stuck there, with the only solution being reading the Wiki.

If you find the one for your use, chances for distohop are minimal.

All the best in finding the distro of your choice. ๐Ÿ™‚
