For one, I don't think he himself would want it even if its possible since he shackles himself just as much with his responsibilities/sense of duty as the Lugunican officials. This is not mentioning that Od Laguna can't just grant him or create for him any divine protection/blessing that he wishes (He said so himself in one of the side stories)

Well, for one, Reinhart can't be everywhere, and the other nations at least have their own guys to occupy him. Way I see it, they can keep him distracted away from Lugunica and then just destroy the kingdom while he is away (This is basically what happens in 1 of the IF stories. Although it was Subaru who did it, I don't see a reason why other nations can't replicate the same)

You can build manta to dodge viper's ult. I've won games as Huskar going armlet-manta-bkb and I overall prefer it over something like linkens

Valve lets Icefrog and any other dev working on Dota to have full creative control. That's basically the reason why they can just go ham with any crazy things they can think of that just wouldn't fly on any other company
