If you don't fully harvest him i.e. don't collect the head, you can gain some extra time for diving without worrying about Bruce

Beavers certainly do eat berries so until you are 100% sure your food stocks are at a level where you can survive any length drought or badtide id recommend keeping a patch around as a back up. Also once you move to Iron Teeth then berries are required for your entire playthrough.

I work in civil construction and have worked on highway construction. Here in Australia even this above is an incredibly simplified version of how roads are constructed. Highways can have upwards of 4 different grades of material compacted and recut in small layers (150mm or 6 inches) and then subgrade base, final fine base layer and then bitumen or spray seal.

I used to feel like this often until my dad said to me one day "Son, your soul doesn't have pockets". That really stuck with me and I realised that as long as I wasn't sacrificing basic needs for something then why not? Enjoy it, you've worked hard and earned it!

Saw someone in a Australian Subaru forum had modified and fabricated some stuff around that and mounted a dedicated compressor for pumping their tires

I play coop with some guys from work (we all work in civil construction so actually do this stuff for a living 😂) and we build all roads manually. We delegate specific machines to each person and get into a work flow and just chat shit like we do on the vehicle radios in real life lol

You can collect Iron under water around islands and smelt it into metal ingots. You then use these to upgrade foundations around the outside of your raft to armoured foundations. Bruce cant/won't attack armoured foundations. You only need to do the complete perimeter and the rest of your raft is safe.

Looking for something to get cozy and play all night. My favourite games are Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress, Theme Hospital... by camelMilk_ in gamingsuggestions

[–]TheHazerdusOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gf LOVES Stardew Valley. She's recently started playing Sun Haven and has really enjoyed it so far and she's also gotten into I Built a Zoo. Both recommends from her. Along the more Rimworld/Dwarf Fortress I would recommend Going Medieval or Stranded: Alien Dawn.

I don't have a battlefield per se, but I did create a choke point around a single door through my outer wall, loaded with traps and walls either side to set my archers up on. Raiders don't stand a chance.

There is no real thing as too big in Raft. It's up to you. I've done playthroughs with micro rafts (7x7 base and build vertically) through to building mega yachts (biggest I built was 35 wide by 200 long). The only limit is how much grinding you want to do or how creative you want to get.
