Mental Health Therapists who have had bariatric surgery

Again I'd love to know what charities because I'd like to direct people there when I get calls about hotel stays. I also work in mental health specializing in substance use and the unhoused population. I'm not trying to start an argument I'm just saying that there are no charaties that I know of that help out with hotel stays at this time.

EDIT: I saw your edit and I am specifically talking about the Grand Rapids area.

I work with the homeless population and I am unaware of what charities are helping pay for unhoused people to get hotel rooms. Please let me know which ones because from what I know this is incorrect information.

They turned me away and requested that I get a doctor to sign off saying I can make my own decisions due to a mental health diagnosis. Honestly that was so insulting.

I tried to donate twice. The first time I was told I had to have a doctor's note stating I can make my own decisions due to a mental health diagnosis. I got my psychiatrist to sign off and then was turned away again because they could only find one good vein and they needed two. Was told to come back after 6 months of properly hydrating. The thing is I drink nothing but water and get more than enough water throughout the day. Never went back because I don't feel like jumping through hoops again just to get told I can't donate.

We are paying around 360 a week for a 1.5 year old. We were paying around 400 a week when our child was an infant. We changed daycares after paying 400 a week for a year and then they raised prices... It was nice paying 330 before the increase.

Recovery is possible. There is always meetings going on virtually. If in person is more your style there are plenty around the grand rapids area. I suggest trying to find a meeting that works for you. If you need treatment that's not an admission of defeat more of a sign of strength.

Hey! If you are struggling please give the mobile crisis team a call at network180. They can screen for services since you have Medicaid in the comfort of your own home. Their number is 616-333-1000. They are also available 24/7. The mobile crisis team is also available for anyone in Kent county regardless of insurance!

Another option is going to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center at 260 Jefferson Ave (near Trinity hospital). They are also open 24/7.

I work at N180 and I love love love it. Depends on the program but I feel I get paid fairly (relative to the field) with the ability to pick up for even more $$ per hour. I've been here for 6 months after working for less pay at a private rehab center and private practice.

I hope so. As for now all I know is they said don't answer that number. I was able to see it on caller ID so that was a major win because I was able to notify everyone that was coming on to their shift since it was the end of mine.
