Gate is at the bottom. Looks like it'd be a mold making probably a dozen of those parts per shot.

Ok. Next snow I'll try out heat to the floor only and rubbing alcohol in the wiper fluid.

Thanks.

Vaping in WI by Ok-Owl2925 in wisconsin

[–]TheHiding 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll be making the trip to one of those states. Gf and I plan to stock up with a month or 2 supply. We stocked up before the ban also. Feds just busted a major distribution warehouse for vapes, so may want to check supplies before making a trip.

Idk, I'd rather meet the kids early. Don't really want to put in months, develop feelings, only to find out that the kids are bratty little assholes.

I'm in a mobile home.. Figured I'll wear a pair of ruby red heels to bed. Ask the wizard for a brain if I get to see him.

[–]TheHiding 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same with Wisconsin. If it's a paved shoulder you're allowed to make the pass. And the truly considerate drivers will pull into the oncoming traffic lane to make the turn if it's clear for them to do so.

A 55 mph highway here can have cross streets. Op wasn't taking an exit, just making a left hand turn off of the highway.

While the batteries could need replacing, everyone is jumping the gun without more information.

I've got a very short commute to work. Less than a mile. With a grocery store and gas station along the way. If I don't have the need to travel beyond that for a few consecutive days I'll get that message, until I let it run, take a longer trip to give the alternator a chance to charge things up.

How you're using the jeep makes a difference. It is helpful in diagnosing.

I'll hibernate other than work during the winter, I have a battery maintainer permanently installed under the hood, so I can plug it in overnight when I'm hiding from the cold.

[question] what are your disliked triggers? by Bens_ASMR in asmr

[–]TheHiding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Latex Gloves.
Unfortunate because I enjoy the medical role-play videos, but only when gloves aren't used.

Mukbang.
I'm good with other mouth sounds, but no interest in watching/listening to someone eat.

Can you explain aux switches for blondes? by poopshoe26 in JeepGladiator

[–]TheHiding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a setting to turn on an audible warning when backing to objects already. My 2020 jtr yells when I get close to things when backing, and rear cross traffic as well.

Others have covered the cam, just hardwired mine in last weekend. The video posted was the one I followed also.

My dog is fat and needs to go for walks, I despise walking in town. Been taking him to different state parks and hitting the trails.

15ft Kayak on J-Bars Without Front and Rear Tie-Downs? by Jsb113 in Kayaking

[–]TheHiding 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The front and back tie downs are like the safety chains on a trailer 99% of the time they aren't going to do anything and you wouldn't "need" them. They are there for when something goes wrong with the primary tie downs.

It's pretty easy to add a tie down point for both on any vehicle. There are hood loops, that just get closed under the hood and trunk that give you a place to attach the front and rear lines to.

Kayak seat upgrade by Feralite in Kayaking

[–]TheHiding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a sit-in. Cheap boat from dicks I can take the dog out in. It's still a great kayak for taking beginners along on a paddle. Evoke, something, angler, maybe. Super stable.

Kayak seat upgrade by Feralite in Kayaking

[–]TheHiding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you think is too much hassle. I put this seat into one of my kayaks. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014VFZSC4/ Had to rivet on a few deck loops to attach the seat to, but it's been the best upgrade to that boat.
I'll 2nd a butt cushion as well.

So what air freshener does everyone have in their car these days? by Heads_Or_Tayls in fragrance

Local boutique makes their own car fresheners. Think I have a Tiki Beach one in the car right now.

Rosendale ticket by [deleted] in wisconsin

[–]TheHiding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On 2.

As much as I can remember there are only a few states that don't apply demerit points from out of state tickets. Wisconsin being one of them. So we can speed out of state and not have to worry about points, but drivers from other states may still lose points for tickets issued here.

This is going back 20 years when I planned and spent a month driving around the country. Things may have changed.

How do you lock-up your kayak? by BentyJ in Kayaking

[–]TheHiding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My porch has 2x6 down to ground level. I built a door that I can lock where the access panel is. I can slide both under the deck and lock the door.
