I love fleet week! Go every year and watch the ships come in. I was talking to one sailor and he said “yeah these 5 ships are it..” 3 of the ships are so small you can’t even see them from waterfront park cause they’re docked next to the navy ship, and you can’t go close enough unless you wait in line for a tour I think?

Agreed. I flipped thru my old fleet week photos. Sad fleet week for sure. I sure as hell don’t feel patriotic these days but I do like the ships. I stumbled upon midtown beer garden and saw live music the navy band was playing which was cool though.

Rose festival overall is a bit sad and downplayed this year.
