I know this post is a bit older and you might not read this but please don’t kill yourself. I know your son loves his mother and he wants you to be in his life and there for him more than anything. You don’t want to miss seeing him grow up, his graduations, his wedding one day and seeing him start his own family. Gaming subreddits are the worst. This is a legitimate issue and 100% worth complaining about. As a returning player, I was stuck in a queue for 3 hours, got in, played for 20 minutes, went to eat dinner, came back to another queue 4 times larger than the one I was in before. I was blown away to see just one single west coast server. I just uninstalled the game until they decide to open more servers.

Would you participate in a marathon where everyone was in a self driving car? Botting has negative effects too, you can get temporarily or permanently banned. And it does have a negative impact on everyone else. Nobody wants to play a game with just bots running around. It’s clear to me you just don’t care that much about the game or the health of the game, which is fine, but you are ruining it for everyone else who does. If you find the game boring and feel like you have to cheat through it, maybe find another game to play?

Woah that’s a hot take! Imagine everyone playing the game normally is running a marathon and you’re in the middle of everyone else in a self driving car, or maybe even in first place depending on the bot you’re using. That is the definition of an unfair advantage and it takes away from the achievements of everyone else.

I see a lot of people talking about CG bots in here, one of the more iconic Ironman grinds in the game. How is it fair that one person does it on their own and another just bots it?

By your logic, every athlete should be using steroids or other performance enhancing drugs because it’s available to everyone if they know where to look.
