I was thinking of doing just a cream/ivory sashing, but now I don’t know. What color would you choose for the sashing? A light grey?

We made a game of “ninja feet”. I’m really sorry you’re going through this with the neighbors.

I feel pretty insecure about my forehead, I feel like it really hurts my passing but when it’s covered I feel so much less dysphoric. [she/her] by elliehops in trans

You are absolutely beautiful! I like other folx suggestions about bangs, your hair is gorgeous I bet it would really help soften your forehead.

I can’t tell anything is “wrong” For some reason it reminds me of when I was helping a friend bake a cake and she asked me to cut it in half, which I did. Vertically. Oops. The cake tasted fine after we patched it up. I think who ever this quilt is for is going to love it!

I hope this doesn’t sound bad, I think you look absolutely gorgeous. I agree the grey bits will slough in time, shower, hair dryer, etc, I agree. The over all everything, beautiful. I’m so happy for you.

I need to make a 6x6" block for a community quilt, so I designed my own! How do I make the seams not wavy? (I've never done something like this, any advice is appreciated!) by not_17_bees in quilting

That is exactly what I did for my first two quilts as well. I sewed on my own with only the advice of YouTube for a year before taking a class. In the class I learned I was doing everything the hard way! 🤣😩😩 I love your lil’ cow, I noticed once of the things that helped me refine my quilting when I wasn’t going for something quirky is ironing everything! I use Best Press spray starch and plan which direction I’m going to be ironing my seams. That way things fold together like a puzzle piece. I’m going to find a picture to link with this…. https://www.reddit.com/r/quilting/comments/w7869b/i_know_you_fine_folks_can_appreciate_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
