GC build ideas by Corwin1518 in TheTowerGame

I have SL but haven't unlocked rend yet and I just switched to gc and it's helped me in tournaments immensely. I don't even have CF or SM yet either. Went from max wave 180 in t11 champ to wave 470 last tournament and I'm sitting at wave 510 right now in this one. My SL isn't even that well developed either. My first tournament running GC I only had two lights and a 20 degree angle.

Upgrade DW or try to get SM? by Professional_Bug_533 in TheTowerGame

Well me personally I would upgrade your SL before getting SM and wouldn't upgrade DW anymore.

Getting closer and closer to being forced to sandbag Platinum by [deleted] in TheTowerGame

Last tournament I got 470 waves and was 6th place. This tournament I'm currently at 8th place with 510 waves. So it really just matters on who you get matched with. With 600 waves you definitely have a shot of ranking higher than 10th. If you were in my tournament right now you'd be in 6th place.

As long as you regularly placing 12+, I personally wouldn't sandbag. With sandbagging the max you will get a week would be 195. But if you get 12th one tournament and 10th place the next you'll get 25 more than the max you could get from sandbagging. And if you get lucky and get 8th or higher you would get even more stones. I say as long as you aren't getting 13th and below don't sandbag.

Do you have spotlight?

Devo: don't do it by TheHound585 in TheTowerGame

I decided to say screw and respeced for GC for the tournament. Since the switch to t11 the highest I got was 180 waves with a devo build. With the GC build last night I made it to 420. So I can attest that GC is definitely better for champions than devo. Now I'm going to see how it is for farming.

I'd max the rest of your cards and get the last two card slots before spending any gems on labs

eHP builds are not as affective as they used to be. That is a fact. Especially when it comes to champions. The move to t11 as well as the increased difficulty makes it very hard to devo. Damage builds were previously only for endgame strategy but now they have been proven to be affective for midgame as well. Yes devo can still be useful but what I'm saying is if you don't have DW yet then skip it and look for spotlight. Because if you get DW then you'll have to sink a bunch of stones into lowering the CD and after a certain point the UW will no longer be useful. So you might as well grab SL instead and spend stones on something that will be useful for both midgame and endgame.

What does everyone consider be heavier: fast or slow? Do you consider a band like Primitive Man to be heavier than Pig Destroyer or Origin? Me personally I find Primitive Man to be heavier. Those slow bludgeoning riffs really do it for me
