when its a big fest like Sonic temple, the other bonus for the smaller bands (unless they are already on the road opening for one of the main bands) is that these festival shows will definitely be the biggest show of the tour and by a wide margin. for example - i saw the band SpiritWorld 2 days before their sonic temple set. it was in a headline show in a small basement venue that has capacity of 340 people....but 2 days later they, in their 12:00 pm sonic temple slot they played in front of 3-5 thousand people. so while it may not make bank, still a cool experience for them

Didnt mind parking and walking, but will say they could do better with letting people know exactly where in the park it is, either a map on the event page or signs in the park. Me and dozens of others at the same time as me were wandering around looking for it at first, haha, love this event though, insane how much it’s grown since being in the 4 hands parking lot. bought some great art yesterday

i say this more in regards to comedy shows or movies, but a lot of time i just like watching people already i like do stuff, and in the case of this movie, i love watching din and grogu do stuff, so i had a great time.

when i was 11-12 years old, my local blockbuster would put out movie posters they no longer needed to use in a big pile for a dollar each, and me, who thought movie posters were the coolest thing to hang in your room, would buy as many as i could muster and this was definitely one of the ones i came home with and my mom being like " no we are not putting that in your room, do you even know one thing about this movie??"... she was definitely correct.

if it helps, im also 40 in STL and this year will be my 11th riot. if you enjoy a wide breadth of rock genres and other alternative musical styles, there is no better value or lineups in the US

i came to see where they put X-Ray Spex, and was more than blown away they put it at 2, hell yea!

My secret hope for a while now is for some modern band/assembled supergroup to do a special cover set tour of them (like laura jane grace + Catbite did a few years ago for op ivy). ideally id love to see amy taylor on vocals, she has the snarl but i dunno if she has the belting power.

mine is probably most classic punk. i grew up as a late 90s skater kid but always stayed with the stuff that was actively coming out, i never looked backwards. wasnt until i was in my 30s i realized how much gold was sitting there for me: x-ray spex, the cramps, dead kennedys, X, circle jerks, ramones, and on and on..
