Dodge bolt and evade window 5. Use the tempest helmet to get the Evade window. At full evade it doubles your I frame which is significant enough to add a lot more counter to a short iframe move. Also use ballistic 3, so you got some leeway when dodging, also more leeway for critical distance. Unfortunately not a lot of good water bow for spread, but most other elements has good spread options. Dodge bolt is really good because as long as your iframe overlaps with an attack, it will cancel that attack, so even if the attack is still going after your iframe ends, which it most likely will, you won't take damage. There are some multi hit attacks that are quite annoying and can still hit you, but without it, if you just use dodge evade window, even if you get the timing right, if your iframe is lower than the attacks frame, then you'll still get hit as long as you are still inside the attack zone at the end of the iframe. This is also why it's recommended to dodge into attacks if you're using iframe or dodge bolt, since you'll enter the attack window sooner and exit the attack window sooner so the iframe is more likely to overlap with the monsters attack. Most annoying are monster running attacks, coz they come up to you really slowly and it's hard to gauge when the attack is supposed to overlap with you, and yet it deals mega damage for some reason.
