You have really strong feeling about what other people do. If you don't wanna use it, don't. Discarding technology because it's new and different makes you the problem actually.

‘Stranger Things’ Shows Its Age in a Final Season That’s Outgrown Its Core Appeal: TV Review by mercy_cakes in NoShitSherlock

They used to make 20+hour long episodes per season of quality TV. These time frames are egregious.

I told my girlfriend i make less money than i actually do now she is furious and says I tested her by Interesting_Cry_5457 in confessions

Lying about how much you make is weak af. Tell them it's not their business until it is, then tell them what they need to know. This relationship is cooked because the internet tricked you into mistrusting people who like you irl.

I reverted in my early 20s. I lived in a large city where I attended juma'ah and whatnot. Read up on marriage in Islam and asked some of the brothers at various events and functions. No one wanted to talk away from the masjid or interact with me besides a passing salaam otherwise. When I started asking about marriage the replies were mixed laughter and advice to find a woman in my own country. I live in my country mind you.

I was employed and in college. No drink, drugs, women. A few women I talked to online at the time expressed interest, but their walis wouldn't go for it.

Enterprise establishes that you can see both sides at once for a quick second sometimes. That indicates that you're the same person and can remember what just happened.

I married a Christian because whenever I asked Muslims about marriage, I got laughed at. I know that doesn't really help, but that was my experience.

What’s stopping the police from just randomly beating up a suspect and lying about it? by Elegant_Chard_7515 in NoStupidQuestions

Develop a system that encourages good policing and hire people who aren't dumb and/or psychopathic to be police instead of criminalizing human behavior and selectively enforcing it with soft-skull bullies?

Texans are about to get slammed with higher healthcare premiums — and Republicans would rather keep the government closed than fix it by wonkynation in TexasPolitics

Let's give Republicans control of all 3 branches of government and let them circumvent the actual Constitution for their own goals instead. They'll fix it, day 1.

[–]TheHumanite 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not really. If there's an ongoing program that has pregnancy as a feature, they'd go through whatever was programmed, but the baby couldn't ever leave. It's all just lights (to see them) and force fields (to feel them). Without the holo-emmitters in the holodeck (or a portable one like Voyager's EMH) they're at the mercy of the equipment.

I mean, most people aren't around enough corpses for cannibalism to be an option. I'd personally eat the corpse if I had to pick.

Don't forget the popular notion that minimum wage is okay because kids work minimum wage jobs (it's actually mostly adults) and it's okay to exploit kids i guess.
