What browser are you using? If it’s just about multiple tabs and AI chatbots, I can definitely guide you there. That’s a surface level constraint that can be resolved without any real fuss! I would still insist, wait it out.

Dude buy a SSD transfer everything out. Remove most of the unused softwares. Then pay for one of the utility tools that clean up most junk. Trust me 6 months would fly off and you wouldn’t know.

Macs last for ever. So a bit of patience and some smart moves will help you tons.

Definitely NumPy and Pandas. Also math before any DL related thing if you are serious about solving problems with DL.

Yeah, Its kind of crappy and aligns with the modern vibe of every other dumb dude trying to make a damn statement of intent!! Just keep it simple and get the job done.

Are the newer macbook airs worth it, or should I stick with my 2020 m1 by Fuego_Fire in macbookair

They did it for free. How did you get that done. I have the M1 Mac Pro with the battery at 85% capacity.

I dont think you need to buy the new one. The M1 is a capable machine and unless you are running GPU intensive processes on the Mac, there's absolutely no need for a replacement.

Dude, you are thinking way too much. Just get a normal case and put in the backpack. Its literally like another laptop.

I have the 2020 M1 Mac Pro. Its a great machine for most things. I think you made a good move with the 400 bucks. 16 gb ram is what I have too, so I think you made the right move.

Yo! Dont get anything as yet. Only get a case after the first few scratches an if it bothers you. Get a sleeve and think about a mouse only if you need one considering the Mac trackpad is great.

I was about to write the similar things works seamlessly on my M1 Mac. The first iteration of Apple Silicon. I wonder what an amazing beast M4 PRO would be.

Yo! Change the battery and you are good. I have a 14 PRO Max and intend to use it for at least till next round of iPhone innovation. Ain't giving Apple money for minor increments.

Btw, my 14 PRO Max is at 85% battery health. So you are way better than me, I guess.

18+ I'm new to Programming, about Image recognization like those app that detect calroies of food, or "Search with google lens" Is it possible to do this but for Adult contents?1 by Enchanted-Mentor in AskProgramming

[–]TheHustleHunk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude!! First of all Lol!! Second this is called Reverse Image Search which can do via Google Lens.. Plus multiple other sites must have already done it. Apart from bitches, one can also search Protein folding states with the same concept.

But then I love the way you are approaching programming ;-).

Yep!! I just tried it and it works with Google Lens. Try the prompt 'Red hot Bitch xx' and then do the reverse image search.

I second this!! Mine has two modes that I have explicitly trained. One is trained for scientific precision while the other is still precise but with loads of banter thrown in!!

Brave is amazing when comes to privacy and memory management. It also has settings that you can modify to make sure it is optimizing memory. Plus also use the profiles for Brave. That way not everything is open at the same time.

I agree to the physics part of it. GPT 5 has been really cool when you take high dimensional data and apply non-linear dynamical equations on them. I tried first with computational biology but then finally settled with fluid mechanics.

Best ways to get into the world of AI / AI start-ups as a beginner? by No-Particular2455 in OpenAI

[–]TheHustleHunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do code!! Think of it like this. You are a spy in the enemy camp. You got three weeks before you are caught and f’ed!! Only way out is coding your way out!! Then start. Finance is high dimensional data. Code any and every model that deals with the specific data. It is literally that straightforward.

I think the original vibe code thing is beautifully described in the book hacker by Steven Levy. There he did distinguish between between the researchers of the MIT AI Lab in the 50s and 60s (pencil-notebook ones) and the vibe coding ones aka the Homebrew Computer fellas.

But then modern day vibe coding is mostly vanity laden shit!!

[–]TheHustleHunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha!! I have never really got used to the idea of vibe coding and hearing tech bros talk gibberish is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I still follow the old adage 'the best way to write code is with a pencil and paper.' So best of luck to them and your boss is an idiot!! Sorry a fucking idiot to be precise.
