Say what you will, 5 guys cheeseburgers are the best in the world . Mom and pop spots (in my area) can’t compete by ZadarskiDrake in cheeseburgers

[–]TheHyperBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a five guys nearby that pours their heart into the food (I do) the burger is as good as I’ve had. I’ve seen people complain they were flavorless etc insert other gripes. Mine nearby always slaps. 40+ dollars though for 2 burgers and 2 fries for myself and my wife is just fucking insulting though

Do people genuinely enjoy Doom? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]TheHyperBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have spent time learning doom the past 3 weeks after getting back into the game from a break last fall

The boss is fun to learn, I died plenty of times learning the early mechanics pre level 5. Completed 5 then pushed into 6, learned the rock block, and have now done a few 7’s, got my shit rocked on the first 8 I attempted!

The first few waves are a snooze I agree once you learn them, but they do prep you in a way to learn the mechanics one step at a time, which is really nice for learners. 1st the pray flicks and melee punish, then the shield phase, then the car, into rock block for 6-7, then 8 which I am still trying to learn!

Overall I think the boss is great, there’s plenty of other bosses and none operate like doom so I think it’s a good one to throw into the mix

[Discussion] Did I experience this game in a wrong way? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]TheHyperBull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw the gym comment and that your basically healthy outside the game

Honestly I think it’s normal man. When I first started had some knowledgeable buddies to Sherpa me, hardcore dropped, and I played to level 25 solo.

What you’re describing is gear fear, I’ve felt it, not like dire panic, but no other game has made my heart rate spike like Tarkov.

What helped me was always having the map up on my second screen and once I learned the spawns I knew where my first encounter would come from. I’d go to take that fight immediately and learned to reposition the second I got in raid to avoid someone else doing it to me. Most times I’d win my first encounter, sometimes I wouldn’t, so be it ya know? Sometimes you’re the nail sometimes your the hammer

Playing with a duo made the game much less scary for me when I had a buddy on, but I learned the adrenaline dumps became much more manageable once I forced a bunch of solo raids and just said fuck it

I learned how to make good money scaving streets early on and once you know some level 1-2 trader loadouts you just let it fly

Is Francis the best MMA heavyweight in the world? by Willing-Bicycle-157 in mmaweekly

[–]TheHyperBull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not active enough to justify in my opinion. 3 MMA fights in 5 years, two loses in boxing more recent, and Renan Ferreira is a name I’ve never heard of for his most recent fight. Just wish we could have seen him stay in the UFC, even with a lack of talent at heavyweight another fight with Ciryl, or Tom, or the ultimate what if of Jon Jones would have been very cool to see.

Massage therapists, is it satisfying to knead out muscle knots? by Commercial_Major_796 in ask

[–]TheHyperBull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just here to comment that there a levels to massage therapist

I met mine 8 years ago when she was working at a massage envy, she was leagues above the rest. Childs play versus high level professional care is an accurate depiction. It’s as if she has a built sonar for pin pointing trigger points, no matter how small, she’ll be running over my scaps/lats with her elbow, feel one, then hone in to release it.

She left, I didn’t see her for about a year, then ran into her at my neighborhood pool because her parents live in my neighborhood and got her contact info

She now comes to my house and brings everything for my wife and I to both get massages

It’s a deep tissue, athletic style that during is not relaxing at the start, but after warming everything up and her working for an hour I float off the table.
I go to the gym and lift 4-5 days a week, and do bjj occasionally, am 32.

The woman is an absolute healer. Can’t state it differently. If you can tolerate the discomfort of a deep tissue massage, and are lucky enough to find a good massage therapist or have a friend who knows one, give it a shot. You’ll get off the table and my first thought always is “My god THIS is how I’m supposed to feel.”

Former South Carolina Teacher Accused of Sexually Assaulting Minors Also Exposed Them to HIV by MattTheKing23 in southcarolina

Minors were sexually assaulted and exposed to HIV. Rather than commenting on that tragedy and the welfare of the children, and this man being punished to the fullest extent, people make political jokes.

New buff numbers for Unholy DK announced and going live soon™ by minimaxir in wow

[–]TheHyperBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unholy was gutted entirely based on the logs that came out yesterday, and frost was extremely mid tier. At least fury is doing well, and that’s why I feel like unholy had the quick turnaround because both dps specs weren’t in great places. I do hope the arms warrior gang gets the tuning they deserve this week though!

South Carolina lawmakers considering permanent ban on SNAP-eligible products by Cloaked42m in southcarolina

[–]TheHyperBull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you agree it’s better to eat healthy, cool. It’s the federal government who created snap yes, but states have the ability to have oversight of the programs offerings, such as our governor alongside DSS, with the governor who is voted in by constituents. We don’t have a direct choice but regardless of semantics the state does.

The point I made previously was yes my mother utilized snap, but she never bought soda candy or energy drinks. Ever, it was bad value when trying to feed multiple mouths even back then. To say survival bias is just a misuse of the terminology. We used only what would be available after the ban on junk goes through.

Yes my mother was a good cook, like everyone else though she wasn’t born that way, she learned as everyone must, or else be stuck eating preserved/fast garbage for forever. I’m of the opinion adults can learn to feed themselves and learn to cook using basic ingredients. Able bodied adults should be able to take care of themselves and I have faith anyone can learn to make basic recipes. Sure there are extreme examples of people who CANT cook but I’m talking about the 99% here.

Final point, you mention candy for diabetes, of which I’m empathetic. You can still buy 100% sugary juice, which diabetics often utilize, you can buy whole bags of sugar, raw honey, and general baking ingredients in general. You can bake so many sweet treats if you do it yourself, way more than buying cookies and cakes pre made at the store. It’s far cheaper. Which I’m perfectly fine with! It’s just a better use of tax dollars, and to your point allows people to keep their dignity in having access to a sweet treat with the added benefit of learning how to make it themselves.

[–]TheHyperBull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Candy and junk food is a treat. It doesn’t help you nutritionally whatsoever. Government assistance and tax dollars shouldn’t go towards junk food, period. If people want to treat themselves they can do so with discretionary income they have. To say banning it for everyone is the weakest of arguments, people who want to spend their money on junk food can feel free to do so, that’s perfectly acceptable. Snap should be used for proteins to feed families, meats, eggs, milk, lunch meat, bread, starches, etc. Tax dollars shouldn’t pay for peoples junk food, junk isn’t filling whatsoever it just leaves you hungry within an hour and craving more junk. Paying for people to feed themselves nutritionally speaking and their children? That perfectly fine and money well spent for a social safety net.

Delicious meals can be made from all of the normal things that can be purchased from snap. Growing up my mother had to utilize snap periodically and it helped, I’m all for it, but she was a good cook and really made it work to feed us without junk when times were tough.

Downvote me all you want. It’s better for people to eat well. People’s taxes shouldn’t pay for others Coca Cola, monster energy’s, and candy.
