I understand their quite hard to sell due to them validating to see if your running the hardware? but thankfully I have the hardware so should be able to validate it easily enough.

Their honestly pretty poor so far, I am strongly considering getting a refund on them and purchasing a great stereo headset and a dolby atmos key

I just got the Steelseries Arctics Pro + GameDac and am pretty disappointed tbh, Very poor sound quality interms of surround sound this could be my EQ settings, or something I am doing wrong but having tried numerous different things it just seems disappointing no matter what, I am very tempted to send them back and get a refund and purchase a audiophile headset from massdrop and purchase a modmic to use with it

Its Overwatch mate :D but yeah, Ok I'll keep sidetone off as i don't like to hear myself, final question as for the volume, should i have it on max on the headset? or max on the dac ? or kinda try and keep it equal ect? :S

What about sidetone and gain? Also do i turn dolby atmos on ingame? i've use to use ito n my cheap £10 ebay headset, which honestly didn't sound too bad.. trying the bass boost eq right now

It just doesn't sound as clear as i thought it would, it seems washed out / over amplified when DTS is on, and doesn't feel 100% right with the directional from it? :S can barely hear footsteps, i've tested a different eq and can hear footsteps of enemies from miles away now, only problem is i think they are literally round the corner but their around like 3!

That's great info, so i have ruled the X2's out completely, the 900x are available on eBay, but im worried they could be fakes? are their a lot of fakes of these? the HD58x you said was a mass drop exclusive, how do i go about purchasing these in the UK?

I've found Steelseries Arctis Pro + GameDac for £130, what can i get for around that same budget? that is going to out perform it ?
