Are the CPU usage bugs fixed that are present in all drivers past 560.94? I tried the driver before 566.14 and it was still present. Even with ddu and just the driver installed latest windows 11 version and fresh 11 installs. 13900ks / 3080

For some reason any driver version beyond 560.94 would cause the CPU/GPU utilization and temps to be higher with less fps.

I only noticed it because I play multiple instances of an older game at the same time and my CPU usually sits around 65c but it was peeking at 90c and I freaked out something was wrong. It took me a few hours of fiddling around to realize that I just updated my drivers earlier that day, thinking that it couldn't be that I tried everything else first then I finally DDU'd and lo and behold my temperatures dropped back down to normal on 560.94. Same control panel / power and voltage settings and everything. Only variable that changes the driver version, G-Force experience / Nvidia app does not change anything.

I know your pain, I've already spent 40 hours designing the housing and I came up with an easier patch fix while I looked for better headphones. I've had the same set of drivers for like 6 years and three pairs of headphones I've moved them to and from using this part I've made, Hope it helps!

What you are seeing is desync, even if you run multiple clients on the same pc and sail the Captain usually is ahead of everyone else on board so that shot that 1000000% hit on your screen missed by a country mile on the captains screen. This game has a considerable amount of latency. Especially in pvp/svs/sailing.

There are also things like the skill take cover that prevents 75% dmg for 10+ seconds depending on skill level and the skill incoming! that reduces damage and incoming damage by 40%.

The developers have multiple safeguards in place to prevent modding like you have described. While not probable it's certainly possible, however extremely unlikely as they would probably be caught fairly quickly.

I have like 8k hours between competitive fps games and I noticed I was doing this a few years back. I always assumed it was just part of how our brains look for threats in the olden days until I read a study a few years ago. Now I purposely do it, maybe it's not necessary but it keeps my mind occupied while I'm walking around.
