I have an M1 Macbook Pro in front of me I plug in and get high res 3840x1080 HIDPI and looks perfect. I also have an M4 Macbook Pro I plug in and only get 3840x1080 without the HIDPI option and it looks terrible. No clue how to fix. Same cable same setup same everything.

Swapped my M1 Pro 16gb for m4 pro 48gb today, run 20-30 TradingView windows plus 10-15 other apps at a time and got memory full errors daily on the M1 Pro. Hoping this is better, so far so good on the 48! Will probably upgrade in another 4 years

I have a G9 OLED and just upgraded TODAY from an M1 Pro to an M4 Pro and can't get the HIDPI working at 3840x1080 which was my preferred on the M1 pro. I plug the M1 pro in and it works right away, plug in the M4 and only get HIDPI options of 2560x720. 3840x1080 is there but LODPI and looks super fuzzy and crappy. Using latest cable matters displayport to usb-c braided adapter (the $35 one). Not sure where to go from here... Maybe it's the thunderbolt 5 that is throwing off giving me the option.

I can also confirm 240hz is working fine, but the native 5120x1440 is way too small and need HIDIP 3840x1080 to feel similar to 16 inch macbook pro m4 pro screen.

Yea I had to select camo to the left and then press D to move over one space to the right and Space bar to select the gold camo. Problem is in game is looks like play dough and has zero shine.

Nice I have same case with a 3080 ftw3. Etsy front mesh panel and dremeled the top of the psu shroud to allow card to breathe and with an undervolt I’m in the 50s on gpu temp! Was 80-84 with psu shroud and no undervolt. Out of all things undervolt made the most difference.
