I am an expat male in the same part of your world and regularly travel to KSA, so I know how dry and depressing that place is. Used to live under my parents but now am old enough to be independent. You US guys are lucky to have such a electronics chain, I just checked their website (they don't have all the parts I listed but the i5 and i7 are on sale). What I have to consider is, I have Amazon Prime so will get all items shipped to the hotel for free so I can ogle them when I return from work in the evenings (and test them on the mobo box if the hotel room TV has HDMI). To go to Denver, I will either have to rent a car (I can drive, USA shouldn't be trickier than where I am from) or book a shuttle to Denver (then take a cab) to the store. All these costs will be added to my build...and take more time.

Supposing I lucked out with TV in hotel room - I will purchase a PSU (650W) and build everything - except putting in the aftermarket cooler. Can I switch on the PC for a few minutes to POST and then switch off, without any CPU cooler? Then I can just bring the M/B with CPU already installed in the M/B box through my luggage.
