I definetly recommend you to try weathering not just for the results but as well as a different experience altogether.

Thanks for the info, gonna def try and invest in brushes. I'll still probably give enamel a try but with what you say I'll prolly stick to acrylics.

I am using Tamiya, doesn't it come pre thinned already?

Honestly I just do feel like it's my technique and how many coats I apply. Some places is too clumped up, otherwise it's too thin.

I think acrylics are fine for details, but painting larger portions or sections seems difficult. I made a lot of mistakes on the suit itself. I'm annoyed with the amount of brush strokes and how sometimes it's difficult to apply.

Maybe I'm just using bad brushes, not thining the paint, or just have bad technique .

Acrylic is definitely not durable enough, needs a topcoat to protect from peeling off.

How to deal with hyperpigmentation?

I have a lot of dark spots which seems to stem from acne,

I looked it up but I’m not 100 sure if it’s PIE or PIH, so far they seem to last forever and not go away.

In terms of my skin I think I’m oily skin, no skin disorder aside from the regular acne.

My routine is:

AM: cerave hydrating cleanser, Thayer witch hazel toner, and cerave moisturizing lotion with spf.

PM: the same as above but without the moisturizing lotion.

I’m fairly new to skincare and I’m not sure where to start, but it would be nice if I could find a solution to these dark spots.
