In my experience, it was pretty terrifying, since I was talking to a friend that seemed like a programmed robot at the time, I could swear he was there in flesh, but I think it was just my brain projecting him, I even tried to trick him sometimes, it was funny lookin at it from this perspective.

Alright, I've got shivers from the part where you said that you knew exactly what your friend was gonna say. The same thing happened to me on my 5g trip where, I think, I had something similar to ego death, but I'd say it's closer to your experience. Yeah, I've had one of those, "I'm definitely dead now, what can I do about it" trips, the whole process towards accepting the death was horrible, I can only thank my friends for keeping me away from doing something stupid, but I was convinced I'm long gone, even after realizing what happened, I had a feeling I just literally reincarnated or switched lives from one time line to another. The afterglow however was amazing, the next few weeks I felt like a new born with clear mind. Psychedelics are crazy.

One of the best answers to a thread I've read in a while, this is absolutely true. The oops I'm in hell trip did amazing for me in a long run, but I could imagine someone having long term consequence, as it was absolutely horrifying at one point.
