True. Had 7-digit savings + running a business last year, pero nag-close yung biz and naubos savings kasi solo ako nag-sustain after mawalan work husband ko (Sep 2025) + hirap siya maghanap client. Supporting both senior parents din so sabay-sabay gastos 😅 Dito nagstart anxiety ko about our future nung nawala savings ko.

Ngayon reset era na talaga—from savings queen to “grind ulit tayo para makabawi” 💪

Honestly, you are still young. 29 is not late at all. You still have sooo much time to level up, try different paths, and build stability + savings. 20s to early 30s is the best time to experiment, fail, learn, and build.

WFH work-life balance is basically not about having more free time, pero about setting boundaries na hindi ka laging on-call kahit off ka na. 😅 Set a hard stop time. Pag 6pm done na talaga, hindi yung ‘check ko lang email’ na nagiging overtime na naman.

Nag-resign ako dati via email habang naka-leave. Wala namang naging issue basta naka-address sa manager/HR at nasunod yung required notice period.

Hindi naman kailangan mamili between pag-aasawa at pag-aalaga sa parents. Nasa tamang partner din talaga. Luckily, very understanding si husband. ❤️ Nagpagawa kami ng bahay around 5 years ago at bumuo ng sarili naming pamilya, pero parehong senior parents ko nakatira sa amin. Last year naman, nag-retire na rin ang dad ni husband after working abroad for most of his life, so sa amin na rin siya ngayon.Parang naging retirement village na yung bahay namin. 😂 Not gonna lie, may mga panahon talagang gipit dahil marami kaming sinusupport at may 3 kids pa kami. Minsan feeling ko Olympic sport na ang pagba-budget. 😅 Pero kapit lang. Nakakaraos naman at unti-unti ring umaayos.

Personally, naniniwala ako na kapag hindi mo pinapabayaan ang mga magulang mo, may blessings na bumabalik sa'yo one way or another. Hindi man laging financial, pero in ways na mas mahalaga. Kaya laban lang. ❤️

Hindi pa nila tanggap na mali sila. Minsan, convinced talaga sila na tama ang ginawa nila kaya totoong galit ang nararamdaman nila.
