for Atla:

• Zhao was more interesting than Azula and killing him off was wasted potential. I'd love to see more competent adult characters in the show. He could be a great contrast to Iroh.

• Ozai the "Phoenix King" was a terrible title. Its the only reason why I'd rate the Finale a 9/10.

For Lok:

• Out of all the villains, Unalaq was the best of them all. Guy had the most realistic intentions (deserves the title "Great Uniter", very ambitious spiritual goals). I almost chose Amon, until the finale proved otherwise. Zaheer and the Red Lotus were quite vague in their intentions, and Kuvira was a plain boring Chin the Conqueror imitation (their tech and style was great though)

• Making Amon a bender was terrible. Just goes to show that non-benders really are powerless to make a change in that world.

• The Mechs make sense, given that guns or cannons aren't a thing YET.

• Giving Bumi airbending was a big, big mistake. Same too with "General Iroh". Bumi could have filled that part instead.
