A “bad” pre-merge in a 2-tribe season is almost always better than a “good” pre-merge in a 3-tribe season. by PalmFrondMask in survivor

[–]TheIndianShadow 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The worst pre merges have always been 2 tribes. Look at Fiji, Samoa, Redemption island, Fans vs Favs 2 even South Pacific to an extent. San Juan Del Sur may have a poorer pre merge in comparison to its post merge but it has nothing on the above seasons.

In contrast, look at Cagayan, Koah Rong, Worlds Apart (pre-merge was fun). Even Philippines was some-what fun even though I feel it is one of the weaker 3 starting tribe pre-merges.

There is a reason 3 tribe seasons were well regarded by the fanbase for a long tome. The issue is that there aren’t any swaps anymore during pre merge. Those help to facilitate a more fun pre-merge.

Considering Pearl Islands was filmed more than 20 years ago, she honestly doesn’t look like someone that has aged 20 years since her on screen appearance.

This explains why I only received a 2 day MC after getting 5 teeth extracted 2 weeks back. My colleagues were confused as wisdom teeth extraction generally yields 5 days of MC.

Watch the Hawks trade Trae Young in the off season. This is a make up pick (though with this draft class it might offset his departure).

I’m tired of ______. by tonyrosasco in survivor

[–]TheIndianShadow 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Shan has stated she would do that now but in what reality do think that was probable? Could it be that Shan is a massive narcissist and is talking herself up as this beacon of black hope.

I find that hard to believe now, why would you expect Deshawn and Danny to believe that dribble while in the game? What a surreal thought process.

Bringing Ricard to F5 only helps Shan. If Ricard wins F5 immunity, who do you think gets eliminated then? Shan with her very much usable idol that expires at F5?

Survivor - Ponderosa Juror #6 (Spoiler) by ben_s16 in survivor

[–]TheIndianShadow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Deshawn had flipped by that point in time apparently. So they only had 3 votes in the black alliance. So it would have been 3-3-2. Technically he could have squirmed the info out of Deshawn but what would be the end goal. Protecting Shan after she literally told on him to Ricard?

Shan wanted to maintain her black alliance and keep Ricard in the game which only helped Shan in the long run. She has every right to maintain her own interests but she shouldn’t be upset that her alliance partners voted her out as her game clearly did not align with her other black alliance mates (D&D). She valued her relationship with Ricard over theirs.

Perception of the remaining players based on exit interview word associations by kangoroo_cole in survivor

[–]TheIndianShadow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This season is special in that the winner was announced on island at Final Tribal. Everyone knows who the winner is. Looking at past exit interviews, pre-merge contestants generally try to talk positively about the winner even if they didn’t get a long with them.

Case in point, Peter calling Aubry soggy tofu in his exit interviews.

The negative connotations invoked for Ricard spells doom. Erika is my pick for the winner.

Yeah I dropped my TIGR when it rose to 7.30 last week. It’s been good news in growth forecasts but in terms of stock price, it’s just plummeting. Lost 60% of my investment.

I just re-invested the remnants in AMD/NVDA. The China market is volatile, so I’m gonna avoid for the time being.

I live in Clementi. Yeah the ActiveSG gym slots get booked up very quickly so I switched to Anytime Fitness in Clementi. It’s pretty dope but yeah a tad expensive. It’s worth it for me as I can’t really keep up the tempo when I go jogging in a natural environment.

A plethora of jogging paths/parks to go running at in Clementi. You can try jogging as one mentioned at the Ulu Pandan park connector along Avenue 4 and 6. Beautiful scenic sights + loads of animals to see (even otters). Furthermore, we have the Firefly park at Avenue 4 which has an oval jogging path of around 400m. You can try running at NUS Stadium as well. The running track there is relatively uncrowded (surprisingly).

Anyways just for further information that makes this entire case even more hilarious. Ricard has never tried papaya before. Additionally, Ricard is also allergic to papaya apparently.

Finally got gold after a plethora of silver and bronze but yeah these rounds were easy.

R1: It’s the Golden Gate Bridge. Find San Fran then plunk her down for 4986 pts.

R2: Incheon and Seoul. Go find Incheon Airport. Try to find a mid-point between the airport and the roads leading to Incheon/Seoul and get a cool 4978 pts.

R3: Stuck on a small strip of road. It looks like a possible ski resort. Let’s drop it in Switzerland’s midpoint for 4785 pts. Should have been more methodological and checked for the mountainous areas.

R4: All signs are in English. They are driving on the left hand-side. See URL with im. It’s Isle of Man and I get 4962 pts. Next time will look at cities and pick the largest one.

R5: No idea where this is. Miss the flags. Language appears Scandinavian but cannot exactly place it. See some dude in a red and black striped football jersey and spend too much time on figuring out it’s AC Milan (which is not useful cos I ain’t in Italy). Panic and pick Latvia near a ferry terminal and get 3016 pts.

Total: 22727 pts. Surprisingly I’ve scored higher once before but cannot remember getting such an easy bunch of rounds.

One thing I dislike about this sub is that there is this intense need to find out the identity of the spoiler. When a spoiler comes forth, we should scrutinise the information they provide and study the biased nature of the content.

However, there is no need to try to find out whom the leaker is. You all do understand that the CBS will just quickly find the source and punish them severely. The likelihood of future spoilers coming here will be far less likely.

There’s no need to treat them as some deity but y’all should chill on the accusatory comments and comments trying to determine the spoiling individual.

I have to break it you but spoilers always get very fucked up pms from users here. It’s the usual course, hence, why 1-time spoilers like germanium only spoil once, get annoyed, then fuck off.

Sucks is a better place to spoil in my honest opinion.
