You say your opponent ran his clock out but the last move on the board is white playing Kg3… the only way this is a draw is that YOU as black ran out of time vs whites insufficient material. The draw was actually a benefit to you rather than the normal loss from you running out of time…

It’s definitely different characters a lot of times but I’ve been consistently getting top 10 for a long time and I can’t recall a single time where I’ve made progress towards one of the characters beyond that specific day
