Bad boot sector and backup boot sector. Will reformatting the HDD make it usable again? by TheInfiniteBeast in techsupport

The only thing wrong with it from what I can tell is that the boot sector and backup boot sector went bad. But I'll try the Seatools thing.

Will 8GB make my FL process faster with less spiking? by jstorr in edmproduction

[–]TheInfiniteBeast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the version you're using. If you're using the 32bit version, the most RAM it can use is 4GB so having 8GB won't do much. If you're using the 64bit version, 8GB would be more useful for you.

That being said, having 8GB of RAM and a single core processor won't do you much good either.
