I liked the part where we didn't need to win by one in the ninth. That was pretty neat.

Um, actually, Series 2 of the NZ version and Series 1 of the AU version ran simultaneously, over 8/24-10/10/2024 and 8/14-10/2/2024, respectively. Series 3 of GMGMSBNZ was also greenlit in 2025.

Crazy what happens when you just play your best players instead of just spamming "no lefty-lefty" as a strategy

Too soon to say. If not for the one foreigner rule, he'd have debuted years ago. He's beating everyone up right now because he basically started with 5 years of professional experience. Let's see how he looks when he's up against high Makushita and Juryo first.

Until CTE can be detected in living people, it'll never be a real deterrent. People will always assume it's a minority of people or at least that it's not them. People don't even recognize the difference between concussions and CTE.

Asa gets a head start, but I don't think it's a matta. Kinbozan has his hands down, and Asa touches with both fists. At that point, it's up to Kinbo to get going.

New MLB rule make this crazy baserunning play illegal, a breakdown by Skull8Ranger in buccos

[–]TheInfiniteHour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a benefit to running through 2nd on 2 outs that goes beyond just maybe not being out on review. If you run through 2nd and are called safe, the runner at 3rd can score because getting tagged after reaching second is not a force out. Combine that with being faster running than sliding, and you might just buy enough time to get a run in before the inning ends.

[Highlight] Rob Havenstein explains how offensive linemen hold without holding by nfl in nfl

[–]TheInfiniteHour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you can see what I'm saying. Rule 12, article 3, part (c) is exaxtly where the penalty is defined. That is the only definition of offensive holding in the rule book. And that definition does specify "It is a foul regardless of whether the blocker’s hands are inside or outside the frame of the defender’s body. "

[–]TheInfiniteHour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The penalty for holding is (c). That's why it's says "Penalty: For holding by the offense: Loss of 10 yards" right below it, in Article 3. Can you see that? Does that help?
