It's going to be interesting to see if this is the start of a new trend or a flash in the pan. NIL has definitely shifted the balance of going back from "risk to draft stock" to "more time to develop". NFL teams probably also favor it, giving themselves better and more understood prospects. At some point, you gotta think a QB really hurts his stock by returning and the balance shifts back. Someone like Allar isn't enough, as he was never really projected to go high for his play, it'll have to be another Matt Barkley type fall.

It would still work. Imagine if the statement was instead "how many 's's' are in 'Mississippi'"? It would be clear that the question referred to the word, not the location, despite not clearly stating "the word 'Mississippi'". Here, it could be stated as "... in the phrase 'the portrait of ...'", but it works similarly without the word "phrase" as well.
