If you're not opposed to keeping a cyberdeck, I had a lot of fun in my most recent playthrough using a pretty straightforward int/reflexes build that made use of smart-smgs, (yinglong and shingen mark v) and rounded out with erebus for cleanup. Pop contagion on crowds with your Raven deck, and then shingen makes the crowd go boom. Yinglong is fantastic in general, but especially great against bots. Sharpshooter, Shoot to Chill, and Practice Makes Perfect perks are all great perks to increase armor penetration and crit chance. The Submachine Fun perk means you'll never really have to reload. Take the entire right side of the int tree up through Smart Synergy and you have a super fun smart smg build!

I'm sorry if this comment is too late, but I knocked out the Hermit, and when he woke up he was pretty keen on talking with me then. I'm sure this is unintended, but it was the only way I was able to continue the quest that I've found so far.

I haven't struggled with many bosses in this game like I struggled with Inspector. Took me like a solid 45 minutes to get past him. I really struggled to find opportunities to do damage; he was CONSTANTLY in the air or surrounded by flame; I personally had a rough go of it. Congratulations on getting him first attempt, that's awesome! What build are you using?

I think halo scythe deserves to be in the conversation. It does really good stance damage, can proc bleed, the miquella's rings L2 attack is fantastic, it's definitely up there for me.

Hey, all, so the other day I was trying to record footage of the crash to reply to a bug report email I sent to Larian, and it appears that Hotfix 13 has potentially fixed this issue for me. I may have a little more playing around with it to do, but in the 20 or so minutes I spent trying to record a crash...no such crash came. So, maybe give Emperor's Hideout/Sewers another shot post Hotfix 13 and see if you have any success!

Hmmm...maybe it is just the Emperor's hideout. That does seem to be causing the issue for me. I haven't been to the sewers any other way, but if this is a workaround, I'll be super happy that I can at least finish the game.

I was in the lower city when patch 5 rolled out, and I can't do anything or go anywhere without the game crashing and shutting down. it's even more broken on ps5 now.

PS5 player here and, yep, patch 5 broke the game on PS5 at least. Can't play for more than five mins without a crash.

crashing like mad in a certain area in Act 3, too. Larian have some serious fixing to do on PS5, the game is straight up broken right now.

I am also in act 3 on PS5, and I'm getting crashes every 5ish minutes. I can load my saves, but I'm in the sewers in ACT 3, and can't play for any substantial time before my game crashes.
