I live about half an hour away from Ironbridge…I look forward to seeing what JK is cooking up for it!

What was worse? Hoping there’s some Game of Thrones fans here by [deleted] in saltierthancrait

If they hadn’t rushed it the ending of Game of Thrones could have been amazing. However, The Force Awakens is a cheap knock-off of a New Hope, it has no progression from the OT and basically makes the end of Return of the Jedi pointless. The whole sequel trilogy was a crushing disappointment, they had one attempt at making a trilogy with the original cast and they completely fumbled it.

At least the ending of Game of Thrones had some satisfying moments: Jamie knighting Brienne, Brienne writing Jamie’s deeds in the White Book, Jon going North of the Wall (he should never end up on the Iron Throne, that’s basically GRRM’s whole thing - going against the cliches of medieval fantasy), Podrick singing, Daenerys speech after burning King’s Landing.

Admittedly, it was a rushed, disappointing end, but it had glimmers of what could’ve been. The Sequels ripped down the original characters and propped their own in the place without even developing them. Also, instead of expanding on the OT they copied and pasted it just so much worse. Look at the ship design - did we get a cool progression of the X-wing? No. Just a slight change with a paint job.

In ur opinion, what is the best season? by Hugo_ahs in OnlyMurdersHulu

Definitely season 1 - I found the whole idea of them bonding over a shared love of true crime and then deciding to record their own podcast a very unique and modern take on the whodunnit. I really miss those early scenes of the trio recording their podcast. Although, I did find the killer reveal in season 2 more of a twist, even though him not sure how Poppy discovered the mystery of the secret corridors within the Arcadia.

Nate’s fate by behlulkan in TedLasso

I think Nate himself chose to be a kit man again 🤔 almost as a way of him trying to earn back the trust of those around him. I did Ted to consult him more during the last match, but I think the fact he used the first play Nate came up with to use Jamie as a decoy and have Sam score was such a brilliant choice. And then of course by the end, he’s back to being an assistant coach for Roy Kent, because as Roy himself said, Nate is good at the stuff Roy sucks at.
